So many popups couldn't even get past the log on screen. More like a virus than an app.

1.0 out of 5 stars Started well, then went down the toilet (or should do), 22 May 2015

This review is from: Outlander Season 1 (Amazon Video)
1st episode ok - having a bath has now become far more interesting! Then it slowed down and some episodes were just empty of content. Stayed with it as wanted to know if Claire ever managed to actually put her hands on the stones and go home without someone or something snatching her away at the last minute, ya ken?

Then episode 15 Wentworth Prison turned on the torture porn and frankly that was cr*p. I'm fine with all the sex scenes (though Jamie is amazingly 21st century and Claire is amazingly quick), don't mind all the gore (so long as it adds to the plot) but the endless and pointless sadism of episode 15 was just stomach turning, hopelessly unrealistic, unnecessary and as entertaining as slamming your dangly bits in a fridge door.

Couldn't care less what happens now, won't watch the "season finale", I just want to forget the whole thing and wish I hadn't wasted several hours of life on this vacuous cr*p.

Got nothing useful from this and I am a beginner! Waste of money and time. What I wanted was specific help on difficult chords...what I got was a set of fairly useless and textless photos.

Weirdly similar in some ways to life of pi. Lovely book and stunningly well written. Thanks Rachel. Looking forward to the next book but this will be a tough act to follow.

If you enjoy a staggering - literally - story staggeringly well told then just get this series and surrender yourself to the fact that you will be amazed...and don't think you've read this type of story before because you haven't.
Brilliant. Loved it.
Major problem for Mr Smitherd: how the **** will he follow this?
I for one will be waiting on the edge of my seat to find out.

This is a great novella - a cool idea that has a sucker-punch in the middle I won't spoil...let's just say that (as ever with Mr Smitherd) what you think you know almost certainly isn't and Luke avoids cliched plots like the plague!

I just love the writing style that Luke is developing - this is so readable and engrossing. It really is quality work of the highest order. Having said that, and having reviewed every one of Luke's books and loved them all I am getting bored with saying how good he is and how great he publishes from the heart...it's amazing how fast he just gets better and better, presumably he can't do that forever but he shows no signs of letting up the pace yet.
This second part of the trilogy is developing the plot excellently and it is frankly annoying to have to wait for the next part. Luke: get your finger out!
