5.0 out of 5 stars Love it! Best band around at the moment, 28 April 2007
Loved the first album and this one is even better. Saw them in Birmingham, they are one of the few bands who sound better live than on the CD's. The drummer is amazing. They are not overhyped they are just flippin' good!

1.0 out of 5 stars fell out of my ear when I got out of the car, 21 Jan 2007
These were awful. I was better off with the ipod ones and that is saying something. Ok so they are a nice green colour and the sound quality is ok,. The only sport you can do with these things cant involve any movement of your head. As a runner I was extremely disappointed. Try others, these dont work as sport headphones.

1.0 out of 5 stars arrogant piffle, 13 Feb 2006
This review is from: Saturday (Paperback)
I saw Mr MacEwan at the Hay festival and he said how long he had spent researching the book, spending vast amounts of time with a neurosurgeon. All I can say is that he should have spent more time writing it. His research was totally unnecessary to the plot and could have been plucked from a medical text in five minutes. The main character hears nurses walking home in tapping stillettos, which is ridiculous and more likely in Playboy than a serious novel or even real life.
His early stuff was great, this isnt. If you really must read it get it out of the library.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you only ever watch one Australian film...., 6 Nov 2002
This film is brilliant. We saw it in Australia. It is funny, sad, has you laughing out loud, but also has some kind of message.
An Australian version of the Royle Family is the best description I can think of.One of my all time favourites.
