5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliantly different from the conventional driving movie, 7 Feb 2012
This review is from: Drive [DVD] (DVD)
Watched this film without reading any sort of in depth review about it. From the off this film just captures you and pulls you in for the duration. The lack of dialogue for some may seem bad but the music used to capture moments which could have been wasted through un needed dialogue makes this film stand out from others. The music simply captures the moments in the film and goes to show you don't need character's talking to understand what they are feeling at that time. Ryan Gosling's character is somewhat nice but errie, few words come out his mouth but the way he plays the unnamed character 'Driver' is to almost perfection.

The fact this film is so different than other action packed movies makes it what it is, a must see picture that will not leave you disappointed. My only concern is the lack of speed chases although the one's in the film are good and justified for that moment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic product, 15 Dec 2010
Bought these for playing football in and they are fantastic. I'm a medium size (moving between a 32-34 waist) and the medium fits perfectly round the waist and coming just above the knee. I've since bought 2 pairs with the 2nd coming 2 days after I placed the order. Great product, fast delivery.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent case, 12 Dec 2010
I bought this armband as i needed one to use when working out with the Nike fit app. The armband itself fits perfectly round my arm with adjustable size and once on with the iphone in it sits perfectly. It's also very easy to still use the iphone when in the case due to the see through cover. If your looking for a armband thats reliable for your iphone for working out with then look no further than this, plus for the price it makes this armband a fantastic purchase.

1.0 out of 5 stars Good free gift but that's about it :-(, 29 Nov 2010
Bought these running trousers due to good reviews and was pleased to see it arrive in only a few days. The free mug i got was good but unfortunately the item arrived with a massive tear on the inside left leg, not sure how that went without being noticed, it actually looks like its been lifted off a shop floor and delivered, overall very unhappy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must buy!!!!, 18 Oct 2009
This review is from: Out Of Ashes (Audio CD)
Hearing Chester had done a side project i was 50/50 over it as im a massive Linkin Park fan but i have to say this album is amazing from start to finish. Every song on the album is top notch and im struggling to have a favourite. It has a really good mix of usual Chester rock vocals to his mellowed out vocals which are equally as good. I'd reccommend this album to anyone, defo must buy without a doubt.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good game but needs improvement, 18 Jan 2009
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Being a big socom fan i couldn't wait for the euro release so downloaded it off the US PSN store. Don't judge this game on the beta version as it has improved a lot. Load times are fixed and the 1.30 patch has fixed a lot of issues. The games does run well in 8v8 rooms but it does lag a wee bit in 16v16 rooms which is a bit understandable. The medal/trophys will keep people occupied for a while as they are hard to get. The downside to this game is it has a habit of freezing in which u have to turn off the PS3 which im sure dont do the console much good. Your character cant climb up on containers which is a pain as you could on previous socom games. It also fails on the maps, not the quality but quantity. With only 4 new maps and 3 old ones it does get a bit boring playing the same maps over and over again. The game really needs a map update soon to make the game better as a whole. Even though, it is a really good game which old school socomers will enjoy. I can see new people to the game not enjoying it as they will prob be in the Rainbow 6/COD mentality and keep comparing them to socom. Socom is different to these games and thats what makes socom stand on its own 2 feet. Hopefully by EU release new maps will be released(hopefully more old maps from S1 and S2) Even though this sounds like a negative review the game is worth a purchase as im sure Slant 6 will eventually get the game right and running smoothly.
