5.0 out of 5 stars nice and robust girly bike, 6 Mar. 2014

This review is from: Vermont Girly 18 inch 2015 (Toy)
Our 5yrs old daughter just loved it on the first sight. We choosed 18inch, as she was using 12inch one for long and jumping to 16inch wouldn't be for long and 20inch would be too big yet. With the seat in the lowest position she can reach the ground (she's 115cm tall), so stopping and starting is easy (without side wheels).

It's a back pedal break, but so was her previous one, so no issue at all and she can still use the front hand break.

Assembling is easy, just put on pedals, basket and turn the handle. Requires tools, but every cyclist would have them.

The mudguards on a girly bike is a must in my opinion and there's lots of girly bikes without them, so it's great this one has got them.

It was shipped to Slovakia in 3 days, properly packaged - nothing missing. And it is still much cheaper than the local shops do offer.

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit odd handle - great otherwise, 23 Jan. 2011

The outside material looks like suede on the picture, but it's actually quite durable and good looking textile. The bottom looks to be thicker (like rubberized) leatherette, so it won't soak-in any dirts, if you put it down in a train or so and it's also easy to clean, although the pads on the bottom are too wide from each other to support the laptop inside, so the bag won't really stand on them.
The odd thing with the leatherette handle is, that is sewed to the straps, so it leans a bit under the neck and secondly the stitching along should have been on the other side, as now it presses into your palm and fingers, if your bag is loaded, while the other side of the handle is nicely round, but you can't really hold it that way.
Zips work well. The straps are well padded and long enough even for tall figures.
Its two main compartments are spacious (wider in the bottom), with perfect padding around laptop. My widescreen 15" laptop fits in comfortably, leaving good 3-4" space above and there's still enough left for a flatter lunch box, notebooks, camera, and indeed adaptor&mouse.
There're couple reticulate pockets inside, the front compartment has holders for the keys, club-cards, pens and secure/zipped pocket. It's light-grey-brown from inside - making it bright and easy to find anything even in the bottom. Two smaller zipped pockets aside and one more flat in the front are very handy too.
