I decided to buy a couple of earphones, so I went for Skullcandy Ink'd and Logitech Ultimate Ears (recommended by a friend). I picked the Skullcandy ones because they came top in a review of earphones, so a bit of a blinkd purchase(as in not recommended in person)
The packaging of the Skullcandy earphones was not as good as the Logitech ones. In reality this is not that important, what counts is how they sound. The Skullcandys are extremely good and sound much superior than the Ultimate Ears. The bass and clarity is far superior. My friend who recommended the Ultimate Ears tried the Ink'd ones, he was really impressed and ordered his own set of Skullcandy Ink'd!
Item received, connected to the network and it was up and running straight away. My home network PC's all could see the device. My media streamer which is a WDTV Live also read the NAS with no problems at all.
This camcorder was recommended to me by a work colleague. I waited two months after he purchased his to see if he was happy with it. He said he was. On that I went and purchased one and I have to say it is excellent.
I have not tried the water proof aspect, but everything else seems top notch.
At first I was delighted with the camera. Then on its first day of use in the pool things started going downhill. After 30 minutes in the pool the camera started acting strangely. The easiest way to explain was the button you press to take photos with appeared as if it was permanently pressed down, disabling all other functionality. After letting the camera dry out over a couple of days it started working again. The minute it got wet the same problem happened.
Massively dissapointed as it was for our summer holiday. Camera returned and a full refund received.
I can see how good it could be, but I have lost confidence with Olympus. I'm pleased other people have had more success. Maybe mine was a one off.
