5.0 out of 5 stars Rush Hour just got harder, 27 Nov. 2007
This review is from: Rush Hour 3 by Thinkfun (Toy)
With this 'limo' being 50% [3 tiles instead of 2] longer than the red car in the original game, it is rather more difficult to solve the puzzles.

Sometimes you have to drive the limo out of the traffic jam, other times, the limo is just another part of the jam, adding a new range of puzzles featuring 5 vehicles 3 tiles long, instead of the 4 in the original game.

3.0 out of 5 stars More challenging than the Amazon photo suggests, 27 Nov. 2007
This review is from: Rush Hour 2 by Thinkfun (Toy)
Why the extra car? What's the point? Read On ....

As you'd hope, the puzzles in this 'expansion pack' become more difficult, more quickly, than the original.

But the REALLY fun puzzles are those where you have to free both the extra car that comes with this pack, and the original red car too!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works for Me, 19 Jun. 2007
I have successfully used this product for several months now, both in backup and restore mode. Having bought a Vista PC I have used the software to backup the hard disk before tuning/tweaking Vista, and restoring back to the original install point, using the sector for sector image copy capability. I've also used it to backup my old PC disks onto a Toshiba 320GB USB drive, and restore onto the new PC's hard disk. These restores have successfully created new logical partitions on the target hard disk, using free space available.

The product that ships on CD needs a patch from the Acronis site to be Vista compatible.

Like somebody below, I had a failed install with the error message, but using Windows uninstaller in Control Panel got around that problem. I've also found that the boot CD isn't always reliable, with the result that you don't always have a mouse unless you boot into Acronis Safe Mode, which means that backups/restores run far more slowly. For those reasons, it doesn't get 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not for 'tycoonists', 12 Dec. 2006
This is NOT Railroad Tycoon 4. The rating (age 3+), and the avoidance by the publishers or creators of putting 'Tycoon' in the title should warn fans of the RRT franchise off this game. If you're expecting a game with the depth of previous versions of Railroad Tycoon, you're going to be very disappointed.

This is "Railroad Tycoon Lite". No sophisticated stock market, (no opportunities to buy long or short), simple 'supply chain' for freight (no need to take iron AND coal somewhere to make steel).

But by stripping away all the complexity of previous Railroad Tycoons, what's left is a fun game to play. Great for kids, not much here for strategy game lovers.
