Manfrotto MN-484RC2 Ball Head with Q/R Plate
Manfrotto MN-484RC2 Ball Head with Q/R Plate

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Lock, 28 July 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I love how easy it is to lock the head in position, the only thing this head is missing is a spirit level and possibly a pan handle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not the best but works, 28 July 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: HQ ALUMINIUM TRIPOD (Electronics)
Not the best tripod out there but it works, the legs are not too stiff, they are pretty slack and bendy which causes problems, The tripod works great for holding the camera body and a small lens (i used my Canon 450D + 75-300mm on it + an opteka 500-1000 telephoto)

3.0 out of 5 stars Low image quality, 28 July 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
the saying "You get what you pay for" is true!
This lens is really low quality but hey.. for the price this lens is and for the focal length of it, who cares it is worth it in my opinion.
I recommend saving up those pennys and buying a real Super tele lens at about £1000 which has great IQ compared to this.
As previously stated, great for the budget wildlife photographer, Images are really dark (you need a fairly small f-stop and slow shutter = more movement.

Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II Lens
Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II Lens
Offered by RYH Deals UK
Price: £70.00

5.0 out of 5 stars The old cliche, 28 July 2009
The lens is really sharp between Aperture f2.8 and f16
The magnification of this lens (on my 1.6x sensor atleast) is a little more than anticipated but it serves its purpose, I can always take a few steps back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Protection, 28 July 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I use this as a lens protector, great alternative to a Clear filter which cost a sufficient amount more than this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, 28 July 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this Monopod with a 482RC2 Ball head, Great combination
You can feel the quality in the clips, It isn't too heavy (although its minimum size is still quite large) I never need to use it at maximum height... its taller than me when full height + the ball head.

Great monopod, very high quality build.
