3.0 out of 5 stars Musically superb but the joke is wearing a bit thin now., 2 May 2014

Steel Panther are musically superb and rock hard. The first album was superb in every way and their lyrics both shocked and amused people. Their second album was good but not as good as the 1st. This 3rd album is good but how many more ways can they try to shock lyrically? They are good enough to move on and produce high quality hard rock but they have chosen to squeeze the shock factor even more on this album. Funny at times, rocking at all times but the joke is wearing thin.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mad music!, 18 Jun. 2007
This review is from: Last Man Standing (Audio CD)
I like E-Type. He is a nutter from Sweden who makes Dance Music for people who don't like Dance Music. Techno,Dance and even a bit of Country here..all mixed seamlessly together. His strength is that he doesn't take himself too seriously..just as well really because if his music was "serious" then the whole point of albums such as this would be lost. This is just pure entertainment, and great for parties..even your Granny would tap her feet to this..especially "Angels Country" which is an alternative Country version of the earlier Techno song "Angels Crying". Brilliant..mad,but brilliant.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a mystery!, 14 Jun. 2007

I don't know why i love this album because it is not my usual style at all. Dance music usually leaves me cold but this guy just has "something" that is totally unfathomable. He is taking the piss, but at the same time his songs are so bloody catchy and well sung/produced and diverse that they are brilliant. He is absolutely barking mad but who cares?

Buy this record..and also "Last Man Standing"..you will be either baffled, tapping your feet..or both!
