5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Value Spare Battery, 17 Jun 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this as a gamble as it wasn't too much money -certainly it is lots less than the original EN-EL20 battery for the J1! It charges fine and works perfectly. I'm very pleased with it as a spare battery for the J1.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 14 Sep 2011
I took a stack of Job Interview books out of the library and this one was by far the best. Rebecca Corfiled writes well and covers extra useful areas such as confidence and presentations making this an up-to-date interview skills book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Book, everyone will learn from this, 3 Aug 2011
I recommend this as a great book about all round happyness - in more than just your mind. It is the only book I've read that takes into account the whole body and mind when looking at wellbeing.

This book has been thoroughly researched and clearly written. You can read from cover-to-cover and then happily return to re-read sections.

It is one of those books that I keep wanting to buy an extra copy to give to friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what you need in your shed, 5 Mar 2011
This is my third solar light from the SolarCentre, all of which have been fantastic.

The light arrived quickly and was easy to charge and install. The instructions could be followed with common-sense, though the lettering isn't right: The Fixing Bracket is (A), The Parasol light is (B) and U-bracket is (C).

The best thing about these lights is that they are completely mains free. I installed the light in the shed, which has no other means of lighting it. You would probably want more than this if you were working for any extended periods in your shed. The lights are really bright, perfect for when you just need to grab something from the shed at night.

2.0 out of 5 stars Salter Scales, 30 Nov 2009
This review is from: Salter 1018 Black (Kitchen & Home)
These scales look good and measure accurately, however they have a one annoying problem:

The blue lights that light up the display use so much battery power that you find yourself replacing batteries every few weeks. Invariably the battery goes just when you are in the middle of weighing a complicated recipe too. I now remove the batteries between each time I use the scale to prevent this happening. This is inconvenient and annoying.

I'd recommend any other scale that has a more simple LED digital display.
