Good transfer of a good film, 26 Jan 2011
One of the best films of its genre to come out of the late 80s. Considering how poor quality the DVD version of the film was, it was surprising as to the quality of the blu-ray version. Consistently excellent with a generally excellent sound reproduction, the only sections that lacked were the sword clashing effects, the wires that lift Connor in the end sequence and the visual quality of one scene as the camera pulls out from Conner's body on the battlefield and cuts back to the present day. However even with this in mind the the film is 25 years old and still holds its own against more modern movies filmed digitally.
