5.0 out of 5 stars Slipper Shoes Great for Holidays, 17 April 2015

Like wearing slippers. Light and Comfy. Can wear with or without socks. The leather is very soft and moulds to the shape of your foot very easily. Definitely taking them with me on my summer vacation.

4.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 not 4, 9 Aug. 2009
I gave up on Sevendust after Seasons as I thought they had lost something. To me they were the epitome of what "Nu-Metal" was striving for. I bought this album just to see what had become of them.....
Ah look, just but the album, if you like Home, you will like this, it is by far their heaviest album and their least varied (not a bad thing). It will, as the cover suggests, make your ears bleed. Lajon is leg-end!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best 26 inch TV on the Market, 23 Nov. 2008
Quite simply this TV is Amazing.
Despite what the AMzon Description says this is a full HD TV set, i.e it plays my Blu-Rays in 1080i.

The photo-viewer function is ace and adds a nice touch to your room of choice.
Also the set switches itself off from standby (as a set-up option) meaning low power consumtion when not in use.
(Not when using picture viewer of course)

The Tv is pricy for a 26inch but the stats speak for themselves,
As I said, 1080i at a contrast of 33000:1, 3 HDMI's 2 SCART and PC in, what other sets can say the same in this size, Sony really know how to make TV's, you would be silly to buy anything else!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply excellent, 22 Sept. 2007
Genre defining? Slightly irrelevant now like all 80's "Thrash" reviews (I know this is a 1990 release) Metallica, Megadeth, testament, Exodus, Atheist, fook the name dropping this album rocks, it is great I love it, if you do too, then fookin A! Joey realises his vocal apex, (no Warblin).
Interesting riffs, quite progressive (only because the tracks are more then 5 minutes long)

Try it, if you don't like it, it should have only cost you a fiver so sell it a a boot fair.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not all that you think, 22 Sept. 2007
This review is from: Master Of Puppets (Audio CD)
People harp on about this being Metallica's best, most techinical, brutal album. IT ISN'T!!! I give it 5 stars because B and MOS are quite simply astonshing pieces of music, I rate Justice above this (despite the so-called poor production). Buy it,you will not be disappointed, but it is not their best, it is only their BREAKTHROUGH album that got them onto the same label as Dire Straits of all bands!! Espresso LOVE baby.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but still missing something, 22 Sept. 2007
This review is from: As Daylight Dies (Audio CD)
Well ol Howie boy really has dispelled my opinion that he is not an adequate replacement for Adam, BUT!!!!! live, KSE still don't cut it for me.
This album begins well but finds itself stuttering mid-way through.
BUT WHY GIVE IT 4 STARS?
Simply because the blend of melody and Aggression surpasses most efforts, even Lajon W (what is their new album like?).
No track on this album is all bad, but it doesn't keep its intensity like their 3 previous efforts.
However, not to end n a dull note, the first 3 tracks consitute the finest opening for a metalcore (is that really a genre?) band in 2006.
Trivium, take note, it doesn't always pay to assume what your fanbase wants to hear.

5.0 out of 5 stars The last true original metal album., 22 Sept. 2007
This review is from: Destroy Erase Improve (Audio CD)
Firstly, this is not THRASH as some of my fellow reviewers label it, it is not MATH METAL, (what the hell is that anyway?)
What this album is.....
It is quite simply the finest album to come from Scandanavia EVER! Forget what you think you know about metal if you think anything else.
Even 12 years later the percussion is sublime, the brutality excessive and most of all it is not an album you will listen to incessantly for a couple of months and then burn, trust me I have been listening to this since they supported Machine Head all those years ago and it is still killer.
The only problem is that besides Chaosphere, the rest of their catalogue sucks BIG, the reason you ask? It is because their are far too many people out there, like my fellow reviewers, who like the garbage they have produced post 2000, a message to those guys, SHUT UP, you have no clue about anything and probably consider Nickleback to be heavy metal.
Anyway back to the point, buy this and Chaosphere then check out Hatesphere, early MNEMIC and Evile.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why have they fallen so far????, 25 May 2006
This review is from: Catch 33 (Audio CD)
If this album was a third as good as Destro Erase improve or half as good as Chaosphere then I would recommend it. Unfortunately these boys have decided that craft and skill are no longer important to them. They are becoming lazier with each record that has passed. I find it sad that the world discovered this band when they suffer a creative decline. 10 years ago they ruled, they were the future, but releasing like this and 2002's Nothing show that bands who produce top quality albums can only maintain it finitely.

If you are someone who wants to jump on and say "Hey Meshuggah they are a great progressive band, Catch 33 what an album", (Freeloading Bandwagon lovers) then enjoy. If you require something more exciting and just simply good, you have already heard the best this band will ever offer, try something like Darkane or Mnemic instead.

It is a joke quite frankly, if I could rate below one star......
