5.0 out of 5 stars Smile!!!!, 19 Jun 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Sonicare toothbrushes are ace and if you've yet to use one you won't believe the difference between them and a traditional electric brush. They are better in every way. That said they are expensive and this is very much a 'vanilla' version so you don't get much bang for your buck; there's no smiley face on separate LCD screen here. But do you need a stupid extra bit of plastic? This one has a timer and an amazing battery life (I've had 2 weeks without a charge so you don't need to take the charger with you when away), and that's all I need. Essential.

1.0 out of 5 stars Shoddy Trunki, 19 Jun 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I'm not sure what this is really. It sort of seemed like a good idea; toddler blanket and pillow, but unlike other Trunki kit the quality of this is poor. The material is not particularly soft, the animal design doesn't work and the pillow blow up bag needs to be blown up separately and isn't part of the cushion. Really shoddy stuff from a normally reliable company.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun!, 19 Jun 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Really lovely backpack. Perfect for the summer holiday or going swimming! I like the way you roll the main pocket three times to make sure it's water resistant and open it has a wide mouth which makes it very easy to get the towel out! Also the pocket on the tail is great to keep a few things away from horrid wet swimming gear! The nemo one looks great too!

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice but not for all babies, 19 Jun 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
My nephew is 3 months old and even though he enjoyed playing at first with the hanging toys he got bored quite quickly. He is a very active baby and prefers to be playing in a semi seated position. This gym could do with some kind of inflatable cushion to support the back and head for those who don't like lying down. An inflatable ring gym would have suited him better. So make your decision on whether your baby is active or chilled.

4.0 out of 5 stars A staple tool for a modeller or someone putting roof on a shed, 19 Jun 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a glorified electric stapler rather than a nail gun. It does take nails but the are only a cm or so long so pretty useless for anything bar model making or perhaps some light repairs. It's superb as a stapler and it was brilliant for putting some roofing on a shed.
Recommended but but with the caveat that this is not a pro-tool.
Comes with a couple of hundred nails and staples to get you going.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute and practical, 19 Jun 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Lovely backpack. My 3 1/2 years old niece loves it! It doesn't dig in her shoulder as the straps and the back are padded. The cooler pocket for packed lunch is really easy to clean which makes it hygienic. It's also very spacious so she can take it to nursery or for a weekend away. The side netted pocket for her water bottle is also very handy as she can grab it easily and it doesnt spilt everywhere if not shut properly!! Recommended.

Dvd ~ Idris Elba

5.0 out of 5 stars Old Skool blockbusting entertainment, 10 May 2014
Wasn't expecting a massive amount from this given the subject matter but with Guillermo del Toro directing and actors like Charlie Day (from the genius It's Only Sunny In Philadelphia, and pretty much playing the same character but hey) and Idris Elba starring I should have known better. Obviously it's a ridiculous film that doesn't stand up to analysis but as Old Skool entertainment goes it's fantastic. It's absolutely chock full of great characters, amazing action sequences, humour and that lived in technology and feel that anyone who grew up with 70s and 80s sci if will love.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 (PC)

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid for the sake of your sanity, 26 April 2014
I've used Adobe Premiere products for well over a decade and stuck up for them in the geeky world of video editing for far longer than I should have done. I've just finished three days of - what should have been - editing. I've probably spent 10 hours editing and a good 20 trying to make sense of the illogical, buggy and quite frankly infuriating piece of rubbish that I've paid good money for. Everyone who's spent time editing knows that codecs can be - let's say - a tiny bit annoying but Adobe have created a piece of software that actually stops you being creative. Do not go anywhere near them or this for the sake of your own sanity. When I find something intuitive and nice to use I will update this review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Indispensible, 24 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Being an idiot I had no idea these existed and was a bit sceptical about them being able to decrease shirts after being squashed in a suitcase, even if it comes in a nice little travel bag. I was right to be sceptical because it doesn’t work that well on shirts at all. HOWEVER, it’s a revelation when it comes to sorting suits. If you’re anything like me my suit can get very creased either because of the daily commute or because I’ve left it rolled up in a small ball at the foot of my bed after an evening adventure. This basically revives a suit like its been given a express dry clean. It really is miraculous…creases fall out and it feels fresh an new. Indispensible!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tech Iron, 24 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is the first time I’ve ever had to consult an instruction manual for an iron. Don’t get me wrong it’s not exactly the console of the space shuttle but it’s definitely a step up from what I’ve been used to in my ironing life-time. It feels and sounds like its stuffed full of gadgetry flare and has a well positioned water-trigger, auto-turn off (which actually works), a switch for turning the steamer on and off and various other knobs and whistles. Unlike some irons its weighty piece, which is a good thing when you are supposed to be pressing a creasy shirt and has a nice pointy end for getting into corners. Feels of genuine high quality (even if it does still drip a bit on occasion, despite promising its non-drip – the holy grail for ironers everywhere).
