Good colour, and a nice fit, waist is a little large but overall very comfortable. The 3/5 stars is because although the jean fabric is very soft and comfy there has already been several little tears appearing, and one rather large one in an awkward place! Thankfully being handy with a needle it was ok, but disappointed they did this. Given the cost though- you pay for what you get! Overall a comfy, nice colour pair of jeans that go with anything, just be aware the fabric is cheap too.

Bought this for my teen daughters birthday and she has worn it a lot. Nice fabric and looks like the picture- bright and comfy. I find it a good length and washes well- no fading as of yet and it has been worn many times and washed each time. Overall I am very happy with it, but the lack of on e star is purely because the fabric itself was a little rough until washed several times, given the price though it is a compromise I am not concerned with, but it bothered daughter at first.

5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant stuff, 20 Mar 2014

Great games for the price- simple enough to encourage confidence. Bright and colourful with great sounds and the drawings are childish but fun. Very educational as the little games change enough to keep them wanting to play.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't thank enough, 28 Feb 2014

I followed Jack online, but having no money to buy a new printer for her recipes, the book was a much better financial option. All her recipes are budget friendly, allowing the financially pinched and those who just want to cut down an opportunity to do so. A fair number of Jack's methods are wonderful to get the kids involved in the lost art of home economics. Learning to knead bread and melt chocolate, prepare hummus and blend vegetables for soups. A well seasoned cook I may be amongst family and friends alike, but our finances are not what they were like millions of others.
Children, homes and fuel are as ever more expensive, food is one area to save, but there is little point if no one will eat the cheap fair you can present on a table. Not so the case when following these recipes. This beautiful and well written book has opened my eyes to traditional food with modern takes for those wishing to be financially economic during 2014.
There are both sweet, savory, light and filling meals, plenty of photographs to indulge the eyes over. Jack's personal story at the start, flowing through 100 recipes to her her much happier life experiences now.
Jack has become someone to look up to, from those who, like myself many, many moons ago, came from wondering if having the heating on was worth the financial ramifications and final demands from the council tax office later that month. Struggling to look people in the eye lest they know you were living off jacket potatoes and cheap ice cream so you could buy that extra blanket to keep warm.
Jack has been there too, and I am thrilled that she has made it through poverty and come out still smiling. This book is truly inspiring on all levels.
Long may her cooking career and campaigning against poverty continue.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read, 13 Feb 2014

As always kent makes the story rip along at a great pace, but with characters given enough time t ok be fleshed out so that by the end you feel each victory or death. Bolitho now being in command of an entire squadron of ships brings the series to a new chapter in the fortunes of the sea officer, with challenges not faced before as a captain but also a growing maturity to the character. A great start to bolitho the flag officer instead of the young captain we are used to.

So huge fans of the author...but.. ok, this is dark, and somewhat confusing. He explains his writing methods at the end, and there are lots of questions and things to ponder. The writing is graphic, well detailed and on par with his normal well written books. But the themes.... In this book it is very dark. Scary, and my daughter, who wanted to try more grown up styles of work, was not impressed. Although parts of the book are based on facts, I personally didn't understand why it had to be so dark and foreboding. It isn't one sadly, we'll be reading again.

This book was so much more that I thought- we already have a very old version of the softbacked 'this old man,' with all it's holes and gaps, this little hardback is no exception. The rhymes are all originally worded, with gaps in the pages so you can 'spy' the next animal or person in it. Great fun and small enough for car trips, ect.

As a tutor, maths books are in the house, but these ones are simple, logical and helpful. They break down the subject matter, explain the answers and have plenty of practice, Colour coded for year grouping, or easiest/intermediate/hardest sections, the book has achieved an all round easy to do and explain book that has been used more than GCP (still good) in our house now.

Ok, these were recommended in a blog I follow, and I am really chuffed I went out on a limb. The mole sisters have this happy go lucky optimism, and their short, but fun adventures are impossible not to giggle and 'AWWWW' at.
The writing is basic, and bold but charming so helps with reading practice, but the pictures are all soft and lovely. Also have the Mole sisters and the piece of moss, which is just as sweet and funny too.
