4.0 out of 5 stars Very Informative if a bit dry at times., 5 Jan 2014

Based on the complexity of the subject matter this book sometimes became tough to plough through but what a great insight into the way money is created in the UK. I recommend you read this as it will surprise you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Powerful!, 5 Jan 2014

I don't know what the most powerful vacuum cleaner is but this one almost lifts my carpets up! It looks vintage but does the job well and behaves like a Dyson for a lot less money.

5.0 out of 5 stars All The Facts, none of the BS!, 5 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If , like me, you are fed up of the myriad of different and sometimes conflicting fitness advice out there then please look no further. Mike lays it out clearly and concisely along with a glossary of terms which was an education in itself. To be clear, this book is for people who are looking to find the best way to get bigger (bulking) then leaner (cutting) and then maintaining your results. In some respects, and this is no disrespect to Mike, most of what he has written is nothing groundbreaking in the sense that he has uncovered the secrets to fitness success but rather he lays it out in such a way that you know (it helps having seen pictures of Mike on his web site) he is talking from his own experience and is genuinely looking to help other people get the bodies they want but often struggle to achieve. Now I don't doubt there are others out there who can attest to doing the same just as much as there are people who just want your money (Mike covers the myths and smoke and mirrors behind supplements also in this book) but what Mike has written just resonated with me and that is quite rare.

I read this book in one sitting as I could not put it down. I needed to soak up the honesty and learn as much as I could as quickly as possible. I know that my ideal body and fitness is not something that comes easily but Mike has given a blueprint for anyone to follow. Mike has renewed my hope that if I stick to what is logical and eat right, workout hard and rest when needed that this holy trinity will reap rewards.

Please do yourself a favour and try to forget everything you know about how to get ripped and then read this book. Also, check out Mikes website for more information on fitness in general.

Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Introduction to Richard Bach, 14 Aug 2006
This is the first book you should read by Richard Bach. It is a short yet compelling story infused with the notion that reality is not what it seems. There are many insightful visions in this text and like most important lessons, we already know them but need to be reminded from time to time.

If you have a few hours to spare then read this book. It will not change your life but it will change your attitude.
