2.0 out of 5 stars Have Konami Even Bothered!?, 26 Oct 2007
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
Well, my title says it all, i 100% agree with L.Taylor's review on this game. Konami have not bothered their arse with the PS2 version, i have been a die hard fan ever since ISS for the PS1, and have bought every one since then, this one is a let down.

The only thing thats changed is a touch up on the menu's and so on. I dont get how in PES5 Arsenal and Cheslea where fully licensed teams and suddenly they aint. What has happend there? Ive never known games to lose licenses, once you have the teams for one game, they should be there for life IMO. I have gave this 2 stars as i feel the gameplay is slightly faster than PES6, but not as fast as PES3.

I had played the demo for the 360 and really enjoyed it and was looking forward to seeing the diving for this version, not even there! Boots are not even licensed any more, there was loads of Adidas boots in the last one, now they are gone too. Pure laziness. People stick with PES6 for now.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Legendary Dog Man Star, 16 July 2007
This review is from: Dog Man Star (Audio CD)
Where do i start with this album! Every review on this album so far is spot on, this album is a work of genius. I have to admit though, first time you listen, you wont see what the fuss is about, but you really have to give this album a chance. Its strange to say this but, when i listen to this album at night i find its true beauty, i dont know why!!

The last 4 songs on this album is worth buying alone, "Two Of Us" is a very moving song, the end of this song still blows me away after all these years. "Black Or Blue" is another beautiful song, "Asphalt World" is a song you have to listen to for yourself, like the other reviewer said, with repeated listens it will blow you away. Butler's guitar work on this song is ridiculously amazing. "Still Life" is an epic of a song, it starts off really mellow and quiet, then the full blown orchestra kick in and nothing can top the end to a masterpiece. Buy it and love it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Solid Album From The Coopers (RIP), 16 July 2007
This review is from: Make This Your Own (Audio CD)
Been a Coopers fan ever since they came on the scene, there was just something about this band that other bands could not compete with. See This Through And Leave was totally different from anything else i had heard at the time and the second album in my opinion is their finest hour!

Anyway to the point, this album is solid, but it does lack something.....Didz perhaps?! "Head" in my opinion is a typical Coopers tune that could fit on either of the last two records and "Waiting Game" is instantly radio friendly (which is strange for the Coopers, perhaps too friendly from what we expect). It really is different from the previous albums, but after a few listens i respected the change in sound. I think anyone new to the Coopers would like this album, but if you decide to go backwards in collecting their music, put on your seatbelts people cos the road ahead is bloody crazy!!
