5.0 out of 5 stars Howard Jones is back!, 29 April 2014

And it sounds so good. This is his new band after leaving Killswitch Engage, and he is sounding as brutal as ever. Devil You Know's debut album packs a punch, it's modern metal at it's absolute best. Fans of Killswitch will not be disappointed, the album is varied from the extremely heavy to the mellow - almost pop singing, all of Howard's styles are on this album. The drumming and guitar work is also fantastic, the production value is great. The only thing negative is perhaps Howards voice is too over-produced where it really doesn't need to be. A must buy for modern metal fans, album of the year contender!

Trivium are back with a vengance. Having broken onto the bigtime with their amazing 2005 Roadrunner debut album 'Ascendancy', Trivium have been seen as the future of modern metal. 'In Waves' is a great metal album, the main aim being simple songs that are more easily accessable than previous albums. With a wide variety of brutal and melodic songs, Trivium have finally found the right balance and have truly adapted their own unique style. The special edition is worth picking up for the extra tracks and DVD, go pick up this album now!
