5.0 out of 5 stars Way hotter than 50 Shades... (of you know what), 1 July 2015
This review is from: Optical Illusions (Kindle Edition)
Abused as an innocent teenage girl and then mishandled by her parents, and other supportive figures, Maggie, the beautiful and sex starved heroine ends up with not one but two steamingly hot bisexual men - who were in an intimate relationship for many years. Lately, something was missing in the relationship. They decided to spice it up by bringing in their beautiful and sexy young employee whom you can already figure out; Maggie.

Does it sound smart? Perhaps not. Does it sound erotic? You got that right. Even if you are heterosexual, or gay, you'll enjoy this book. Way hotter than 50 Shades of you know what.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sensual, passionate, timeless...., 22 Jun. 2015
Sensual, passionate, timeless.... Muffy Wilson makes the reader feel as though he/she is in the room with all the characters. This lovingly written story of love, family and healing is so well told, you will find it hard to put down. Your heart will long for more and you wants to continue reading. Reading it out-loud with my partner makes it more real than reading in silence. It is a story of love, sacrifice and transcendence - enough to mend a broken heart. I highly recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Story Worth Reading., 20 Jun. 2015
Margaret Egrot wrote this story in a way that makes me feel she had lived it. Is it possible she pulled real life incidents from her work as a freelance child protection consultant to include in her writing? Wherever the source, this is a very well written story of child/parental love and friendship. It is clear that Ms Egrot has a very strong moral compass since the moral of this story is - to face life's many challenges with truth and bravery. Which was the ultimately confrontation the two families at the center of this delightful coming-of-age story had to accomplish. The healing process began as soon as they validate their various conflicts. This beautiful story is worth the read.

Heuer Lost and Found
Heuer Lost and Found
by A. B. Funkhauser
Edition: Paperback
Price: £11.40

5.0 out of 5 stars I for one like this book, 5 May 2015
This review is from: Heuer Lost and Found (Paperback)
Author A. B. Funkhauser strikes a macabre cord with her book "Heuer Lost and Found". Written from the perspective of an undertaker she gives her readers a ringside seat at the Weibigand Mortuary where Enid a middle aged woman arrives on a Monday morning still in a stupor from the night before. Initially, the reader learn a bit about Enid and the history of the mortuary. It's original owners and their heirs who continue to operate the family owned business, along with all of it's eccentric employees. Early in the day a call was received and there after a not so typical day in the life of a mortuary begins, as Heuer, a well known middle aged Attorney was found dead in his apartment where he laid for several days. The story now vacillates between present day and flash backs to a time when Heuer, Enid and others in the story - their lives were intertwined in one way or another. Heuer appears as a ghostly spectre to enchant us with his own take on his past, and his current impressions of what was being said and done as his body is prepared for burial. I for one like this book. I found it to have a similar feel to the HBO series called "Six Feet Under".

Ms. Funkhauser is a wizard with words and did a fine job of weaving this story of Greek, German and English speaking families that bounced back and forth throughout the entire book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Follow love and it will flee. Flee love and it will follow., 1 May 2015
This review is from: Against All Odds (Kindle Edition)
A beautiful love story that has all the elements of romance within the pages of "Against All Odds." Just when Jayden Farrell, the story's main character was given up hope of ever finding the right woman. In walks Genevieve Shelton, the girl who was in no hurry to find love. As the famous Diana Ross sang in one of her many songs - "Follow love and it will flee. Flee love and it will follow." A romantic read.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Gripping Read!, 20 April 2015
Provocatively sexy and filled with erotic moments to boot. Loved it! The underground M/M sexcapade reminded of me when I was a young man looking for love in all the wrong places. Instead I found sex in all the right places - much like Aiden Murphy, Wil Rice and the sadistic police chief did in "The Rules." A gripping read. One that kept me turning the pages to find out what happens next. A gay BDSM erotica that I'm sure many gay men will find intriguing and want to experience. :) Well done Gale Stanley.

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Read, 20 April 2015
This review is from: My Secret (Kindle Edition)
It sounded like a yummy "man-man" love story. Being a gay man, I wanted to find out what Tony and his best pal, Paul got up to in the woods. Rather than giving the plot away, let's just say it was a steamy hot read. At the end of the day, Tony was no longer afraid of the 'call of the wild' but embraced his future camping trips with ardor and affection. :)

Deadly Secrets (The Greek Isles Series Book 2)
Deadly Secrets (The Greek Isles Series Book 2)
Price: £2.58

5.0 out of 5 stars An intriguing plot, 18 April 2015
An intriguing plot of love, romance and mystery within the enchanting backdrop of the Greek Islands. Irresistible drama is bound to follow suit. The author, Angel Sefer had done a great job in keeping her audience spellbound throughout the book. Like most great love stories, the heroine (in this case - Helena) juggles her affection for Dimitris and her quest to unearth the truth of her father's disappearance when she was a mere child of eight. This book is beautifully written and I applaud the author for her imaginative and riveting storytelling.
