Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - Classics (Xbox 360)
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - Classics (Xbox 360)
Offered by Mayflower Stores
Price: £9.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Installment to the Franchise, 19 Sept. 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Positives:
-Great Story
-Fun Gameplay
-Great new features like the assassin recruits
-Great new weapons and shrines
-Really fun multiplayer

Negatives:
-Incredibly difficult to 100% (Each mission has a secondary objective that gives you 100% sync , the leonardo missions are particually badly designed in this regard)
-The multiplayer has a strange bug where you cannot join your friends, it simply wont let you, it is probably a problem with conflicting title updates.
-Population on multiplayer is very low now
-Some of the achievments are ridiculous (get to level 50 in multiplayer)

Overall:
Well worth picking up if you are a fan of Assassins Creed 2

Mass Effect 3: N7 Collector's Edition (Xbox 360)
Mass Effect 3: N7 Collector's Edition (Xbox 360)

1.0 out of 5 stars If you are a fan of Mass Effect, play until the last 15 minutes., 19 Sept. 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Mass Effect was my favourite game universe created to date. The operative word being 'WAS'. I have never seen any game company royaly screw their fans as hard as this. My problem, is of course, with the absolutely terrible ending. I had sunk over 100 hours into perfecting 2 different saves for this game, and for what? A pointless ending that ruins the universe forever. The problem with the ending is that it does not reflect any decisions you have made in any of the other games. Destroy the human reaper in Mass Effect 2? Save the Rachni in Mass Effect 1? It doesnt matter, none of the decisions have any real impact.

The most insulting thing is that this game is truly amazing up until the last 15 minutes, there is even a point halfway through the game that will leave you in tears. There are plenty of epic moments and great dialog choices that round character arcs up perfectly.

Despite the ending being dreadful, the entire game feels rushed. The minimal sidequests are poor, short and basically fetch quests that involve no story. The side quests are incredably poorly managed as well, it doesnt even tell you if you are holding the item that needs to be delivered so you have to end up using a pen and paper to manage what you have in your inventory.

The multiplayer is a dull horde rip off, that takes the 'pay for item packs' route. So after each game you earn credits, in which you can buy item packs. The problem with this is that you have to play for well over an hour just to get the best item pack. It is basically an extra way for EA to make more money seeing as you can just pay real money to get the item packs.

Overall, I have never been more dissapointed with any piece of media in my life, they even had a chance to fix it with the extended cut (which also is an insult to any fan). I have lost all hope in Bioware and will certainly never buy another one of thier games again. I am also quite sure it is down to EA either forcing multiplayer into the game or forcing them to release it before it was properly finished and polished. I would have gladly waited an extra 6 months if they could have worked on a satisfying ending.

The special edition content is a waste of money. About the only half decent thing is the 'ashes' dlc that should have been included in the game for free in the first place. The dlc guns are terrible, and the outfits are pointless as well. The art book is quite nice, but is very minimal and small. Dont even get me started on the boody normany lithograph or N7 pouch (The lithograph is basically a postcard).

If you are a Mass Effect fan invested in the story, avoid at all costs. If you are looking for a mildly fun third person shooter, I suppose you could waste some cash on it.

Wacom Bamboo Pen Graphics Tablet
Wacom Bamboo Pen Graphics Tablet

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Tablet, 19 Sept. 2012
This is the second Graphics tablet I have owned, the previous being a Genius Tablet, and I have to say this tablet is great. Despite its relatively small size, it is very responsive and intuitive to use.

I would definately recommend this as a first tablet.
