Having online only insurance is a bit of a pain as it requires lots of emails being sent back and forth but to be fair to Squaretrade they have gone out of their way to help me and have always responded quickly to my emails.
The main problem was my kindle was bought for me as a present over three months ago and therefore I did not have a receipt for it. Squaretrade have made an exception, backdated the warrenty and insured my kindle. However, I have had to spend quite a bit of time emailing and ringing various people over the past few days which I really didn't need. I also had to ask the person who bought the kindle for me for the receipt.
I think insurance companies should have policies in place for when people want to buy insurance for their gifts, particularly as they are advertising being specialists to insure items bought off Amazon.
