1.0 out of 5 stars Shockingly Awful, 8 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Broke on first use. Caused a power surge which shorted the USB port, which now no longer works. Do not buy. Not even worth paying for postage to send it back.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and shoddy, 3 Aug. 2011
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Sadly, when I recieved 2 these generic versions of the official dual shock ps3 joypad, they were both defective as R1 and L1 had swapped functions with R2 and L2, respectively. As I predominantly play CoD:WaW, I had to use the "tactical flip" setting to get the right button controls that I was use to. So a minor flaw there. The sellers however, are great. They happily replaced the first joypad for another (hence I have 2) within 24 hours - the former had a broken button. Perhaps the item is a bit over-priced considering all the problems that come with them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why Is This Still Being Sold On Amazon?!, 9 Nov. 2010
Utterly useless. Did not work on my computer, and I'm certain it will not work with any other computer or laptop. The drivers had to be downloaded from the internet, which didn't matter as the CD-ROM drive doesn't work regardless of the software! The CD supplied with the drive is in chinese - great help, not. Do not buy, unless you intend to use it as a tea coaster - a cheap and ugly looking tea coaster.

1.0 out of 5 stars Memory For Specific Laptops Only, 9 Nov. 2010
There's only two main initial criterias for memory cards - does it work, or not? In my case, it didn't work with my Dell inspiron laptop, despite there being no obvious reasons why it wouldn't, according to the technical information. Quite disappointing.

1.0 out of 5 stars If it weren't for bad lock, I'd have had no lock at all. The latter probably being the better choice in this case, 9 Nov. 2010
Absolute rubbish. After three weeks of use, and even after careful looking after (what a waste of WD-40!) it has completely stopped working. Week one was ok, as locks go. Week two with its gentle showers saw the key begin to jam in the lock itself (potential rusting...?), but still useable. Week three was an absolute disaster. Key no longer opened lock despite fitting, unless under half an hour's manual duress - meanwhile owner of lock looked like a novice bike thief. Once lock eventually forced open, could no longer re-lock. Utter (bol-) locks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Small, Robust but Noisy Electric Heater, 17 Feb. 2010
Brilliant design - very effective function and robust. The heat generated is so quick that a normal sized room is comfortably warm in a couple of minutes. Only drawback, hence the lack of 5 stars, is the infernal noise of its fan. Especially annoying when attempting to sleep, as it switches on automatically to wake you up from your sleep! Probably best to leave it on off, and wrap up warm in blankets in these instances. Very happy regarding price and user friendly controls.

1.0 out of 5 stars Mis-"Understanding Immunology", A "Wood"-en Read, 15 Dec. 2009
Terrible, outdated with huge gaps in the fundamentals of immunology! Chapter on T-Cell selection wrong (according to my lecturers and tutors) and contradictory to other textbooks (eg. Janeway's Immunobiology). This is possibly due to it being based on outdated research. Purple-colour-dominated-diagrams add little to aesthetics and explaination, and layout is as patronizing minimal in its style as its content. Structurally, chapters do follow some sort of logical order. However, one still finds a topic that could have easily followed on from another, which has been separated instead by completely unrelated chapters. Definitely do not buy - unless your examiner is particularly inclined to it, as may be the case in Manchester.

2.0 out of 5 stars Revision Aid That Causes Confusion, 15 Dec. 2009
Far too little detail, even for a last minute review before exams. MCQs are useful, however, huge gaps (for my particular institution's syllabus) in this revision book's content. Condensing of material likely to confuse as oppose to reinforce. Not worth the pricetag - one stop only, and getting off for good!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sufficient Level Of Knowledge, 15 Dec. 2009
Good level of detail for any bomed/medical Bachelors degree. Good diagrams to explain several complex processes. Highly recommend for any student embarking on a higher educational course with immunology as a component or module.
