5.0 out of 5 stars Works on other types of INSECTS too, 19 Feb 2014
Rather than just being suitable for Bugs, which are a specific insect type with sucking mouthparts, it can also be used for other insects, as well as other invertebrates such as Spiders, millipedes, centipedes etc.

Not suitable for small rodents, large scorpions, snakes, lizards and crabs.

It may help in the retrieval of Lobsters, that have unexpectedly shot up the rectum - care is advised.

Can also be used for gently removing Barking Toads from the underpants.

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT the first remixes on the market!, 30 Oct 2013
"These are the first ever Beatles' remixes on the market" - actually, no they are not - The "Love" album from 2006 has remixes of Beatles tracks produce for Le Cirque De Soleil - the difference being, those ones are on an official release.
Up to you whether you buy this EP, but only buy for its curiosity value, on the understanding that it's an unofficial release which has nothing at all to do with the official releases.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tachyon Spectacular, 21 Nov 2011
a stunning laptop which is a pleasure to use.
Plays my DVDs with stunning visuals and sounds - the really special thing is the Tachyon plugin on the DVD player.
This gives a fully immersive experince by it's detection of when a film is set, the tachyons envelope you and carry you off to the actual time and location the film is set in.
Time travel really is possible with this wonderful machine.
This laptop also keeps my kittens entertained for the many hours when I'm out at the psychiatrist, or doing my community service - how you may ask - well the mousepad actually tastes of real mouse, so kittens just love the taste.
It's also possible to remove the dvd drive and insert the special banana fritter maker - these come out a real treat, the clever part is the laptop uses the power of the internet to download the ingredients and cleverly combines them into perfectly made, circular fritters - you do get the odd bad one though, if there's been a coding error - last week my banana fritter was found to contain raspberry jam, which was most disconcerting.

All in all, a wonderful purchase, if you want to come round my place for a free demonstration, you can find me in the fifth cardboard box under the railway bridge ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Unusual Track Choices, 13 Sep 2009
This review is from: 12"80s Electro:pop (Audio CD)
recommended as there's some exceptionally rare to CD tracks on here - probably not available elsewhere, so top marks for the compilers - except for one glaring error............
The track by Trio is just called "Da Da Da" - not all that other rubbish that someone's included - I should know, I have the original 7 and 12 inch singles.
Still apart from this stupidity, a great compilation so well worth the price for 3 discs of 80's 12 inchers...

5.0 out of 5 stars CD Reissue required, 25 Oct 2008
This review is from: Listen [Us Import] (Audio CD)
Yet another 80s CD that been ignored by the dumb record companies and not reissued properly - any that are around on CD are obscenely priced!
I bought this way back in 1983 as a picture disc, then bought it again on black vinyl.
A great album, which has many singles:- Wishing (If I Had A Photograph Of You) is the most well known and their biggest hit to date.
There's also the re-recorded version of their debut single "(It's Not Me) Talking - which was also re-released as two versions on 7" - one version is on the normal 7", the other is on the 7" picture disc.
The other 2 singles from the album were "Nightmares" and "Transfer Affection".
This is the 2nd album from AFOS, which sold well off the back of Wishing - which was a huge chart hit in late 1982 in the UK.

Quite why this hasn't been given a full remastering workover is one of life's great mysteries, their 3rd album was given a reissue early in 2008 by Cherry Red records in the UK, so here's hoping they will do the same with this, adding the 12 inch and B sides and possibly the original 7 and 12" versions of "Talking" from Bill Nelson's "Cocteau" label.

I just hope someone at Cherry Red is reading this and gets this album reissued.

5.0 out of 5 stars Re-issue on CD long overdue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 25 Oct 2008
This review is from: Theodore and Friends (Audio CD)
Fantastic first album by the Adventures.
First came across them when working in a record shop.
First single from the album "Another Silent Day" which is a good starting point, but failed to sell, followed later in 1984 by the superb "Send My Heart" - a top quality 80's single which made it into the UK top 40.
Followed up in 1985 by "Feel The Raindrops", another great single.
The album followed soon after, with the final single off the album being "Two Rivers".
The album was also released in the USA, titled "The Adventures" - with the first side being different mixes of the tracks on the UK version, the second side has the same mixes as released in the UK, but some tracks from the UK album were dropped to be replaced by UK B Sides.
Overall a great album - but completely ignored for reissue by the record companies - please won't somebody put this right?
Perhaps someone at Cherry Red, Demon or Edsel is reading this review - I'd love to get this album "Officially" on CD - all I have is a CD-R I made myself combining the UK and USA albums - yes they will fit on 1 CD - but it'd have to be a double if you include all the 12 inch versions and extra B side tracks.
Come record companies, how about reissuing this brilliant album?

5.0 out of 5 stars OMD's debut album - 100% Recommended, 16 April 2004
superb 1st album with the classic tracks Electricity and Messages.
Just listen to the Kraftwerk influences on the tracks.
Also this version comes with loads of extra tracks, and the whole thing has been digitally re-mastered, noticibly giving a bigger sound.
Absolutely recommended - buy 1 for yourself and another for a friend.

music = brilliant
packaging = a mess at first appearances - but the sleeve notes make up for it.
Great album as an introduction to the Stones music, now will the record companies give us 40 Licks part 2 with all the singles and good album tracks missed off from 'vol. 1'
40 Licks - Buy it - you won't regret it

5.0 out of 5 stars An under-rated album - which deserves a listen!, 21 Sep 2001
This review is from: In Mysterious Ways (Audio CD)
Mostly ignored on it's original release in 1985 - a great injustice!. The remastering has brought this album to life - standout tracks being the singles Stars On Fire and Enter The Angel. Other tracks not to be missed include Morning Glory and Stairway [incorrectly labelled on the CD as Hiding In Plain Sight] As with the previous 3 John Foxx albums - way ahead of it's time.
