5.0 out of 5 stars Very good port, 22 Jun 2014

This review is from: Titanfall (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
Make no mistake, this version is every bit as good as the others, despite the lower framerate (something i keep locked at 30 to avoid tearing). When you're flying to your base with the enemy flag or chasing an FC, nitpicking texture details is the last thing on your mind. Trust me, you do NOT need an XBOne for this game. Also, the light flares that bother people on the other versions are mostly gone in this one (a plus in my book). I highly recomend this if you're a couch gamer.

I bought this to replace my original battery and boy is it a step up. Granted the old one was already kind of busted but even when it was new it didn't gave me a day of moderate use like this one does

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good, 28 Dec 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Let's get a few things out of the way first: i don't use an uber arcade stick and i can't pull 5 hit combos to save my life. Basically i'm your average gamer.

The only fighting games i have really enjoyed are SF2 and MK9, even though i've tried most of them.
MvC is too fast and flashy for me, Blazblue makes me cry (of wrist pain mostly) and KoF never grabbed my attention... until now.

KoF 13 just feels right, for some (good) reason. I can barely do 2 kinds of jump in this game, but i can grasp enough of it's mechanics to actually stand a chance when i play against someone, probably because most of the people playing it are also new to the game, but even so, when i'm playing it i feel a rush like i haven't felt in a very long time, and it feels very good. Even when you loose to someone more skilled you always pick up new strategies that you can actually learn and use with very little or no training at all.

Overall the game is very noob friendly (not braindead friendly though) and the basics are easy to learn but hard to master.
You'll probably never pull off a Max Cancel in a match, but that won't stop you from enjoying it.

The online is kinda iffy at the moment. It's playable, if you find someone with a good connection. If you see someone with a red or yellow latency icon run the hell away from them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great game but beware the DRM, 21 Nov 2009
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Awsome game, terrible DRM

This game links to your Steam account so no one but you can use it, but it get much much worse.
It forces you to use Games for Windows which gives you about 10 licences to install.
Every time you format your PC you loose one licence.
After those 10 are gone you have to go through a draconian process to get one last key.
If you format your machine after that you're forced to buy the game again.

This happens with ALL Games for Windows games
