Modern Chrome Swivel Spout Kitchen Tap with Pull Out Spray Luxury Faucet

Price: £46.55

3.0 out of 5 stars Giant tap, 2 Aug 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A very good quality tap. Heavy and solid. What is not apparent from the pictures is its enormous size. To give you an idea of its size, the detachable head is near enough the size of a shower head. You need a big sink to house this monster.

Once again Robert Goddard hasn't failed to keep the reader guessing as the plot becomes more and more intriguing. One of his best.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and cheerful, 2 Aug 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A very flimsy light weight tap. Looks cheap. No instructions supplied and very inadequate rubber washers. But, you get what you pay for.

2.0 out of 5 stars confusing at times, 21 Feb 2012
This review is from: Brilliant Javascript (Paperback)
For beginners, but in a basic example, hitherto unmentioned keywords and constructs are introduced with no explanation. A beginner would be confused. Also, there are no practice exercises to cement the concepts covered. The book s a series of examples with some terse explanations and no more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb little camera, 4 Jan 2012
I tried many of these 'spy-cameras' but all were very disappointing. This little gem on the other hand, is just superb; and given the low price, is excellent value for money. The picture quality is excellent for such a miniature camera, with a sound quality to match. The instructions are given in a language which can only be described as a cross between Chinese and English; but the operation is so easy, you can figure it out by yourself in no more than a few minutes. Excellent product all round.

4.0 out of 5 stars A little repetitive but very good overall, 20 Dec 2011
Repetitive. Concepts are explained and then explained again two pages later and again a few pages later. If all the repetitions are taken out of the book, it would become shorter and less tiring. However, it is a very good book for a beginner, although not a complete beginner. Some knowledge of HTML and Visual Basic are a pre-requisite before attempting to learn ASP.NET. Explanations are very clear. This is a very good and comprehensive introduction to ASP.NET. Worth the money!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very very poor, 1 Dec 2011
I bought this item and returned it the same day. It worked erratically. There is a button which does everything and you cannot tell when it is recording or not. Mine seemed to record only when you plug it into the computer via a USB port, and even then, erratically: Sometimes it does and most times it doesn't. It certainly didn't record when I wanted it to. The quality of the recording is very very poor, even in bright light. As for the sound, when it is captured, it is muffled and very low. In fact you could't catch anything that was said. The instructions are a form of Chinese-English; totally incomprehensible (and funny). They might as well have been written in plain Chinese. The pen looked and felt cheap. The sort of item you'd find in a 'Eveything-for-a-pound' shop. In fact, even a pound is too much to pay for this rubbish. Don't waste your money. Pay more and get something decent, because this item will be a disappointment to you.

News from No Man's Land: Reporting the World
News from No Man's Land: Reporting the World
by John Simpson

4.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating accounts from behind the scene, 12 May 2006
News from No Man's Land is a fascinating read as it relates events and facts not normally included in the terse, seconds-long reports in news programmes. John Simpson gives not only comprehensive accounts of the events leading to and during the Afghan War, but also a fair and unbiaised analysis of the politics behind them.

A very good read by any standards.
