Urbano Compact Attache for Macbook Book Air (Deep Purple)
Urbano Compact Attache for Macbook Book Air (Deep Purple)

3.0 out of 5 stars Stylish Minimalism, 25 Sep 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you need a very well made, proper leather, stylish, very compact, easy to use on the go carrier for your Macbook Air and nothing else, this could be your five star bargain. If you want to also carry your charger and lead and anything other than a phone say, it has a small outside pocket which wont take much more than a small notebook or phone. It comes with retractable handles and a robust detachable shoulder strap and I like it's compact ease of use, but another time, I would go for a little more space for that charger, electrical lead, file pad. Women who carry handbags anyway may be well pleased, but you may otherwise need a separate briefcase (or bulging pockets).

5.0 out of 5 stars Childhood in Barbados, 19 Mar 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Lewis Henry has written a charming account of growing up in Barbados. His account is psychologically acute and informative for outsiders and evocative of 1960's rural Barbados for anyone who knows that part of the world. Suitable for children and teenagers as well as adults, it is a good read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple Gift, 5 Feb 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ronald Searle's final publication shares the drawings he made for his wife when she was gravely ill and undergoing grueling medical treatment, each drawing marking the treatment sessions, to glimpse for them both, a hopeful future. The drawings in Searle's trademark style are both delightful but also moving and his fans will want a copy. But should they know anyone who is struggling with ill health and in need of a dose of optimism, send them this. Never originally intended for publication, Searle and his wife decided to share them, a gift to the rest of us, before they both died last year.
