How can anyone not love Noel Coward? Ok we aren't an empire. But it's still funny. And exceptionally witty. Timeless classic that expresses wonder at the ways of the empirical bri t I shall gentleman and his total lack of common sense....

Constantly pops up with ads not all appropriate for children or young adults. No way to play for more than ten minutes unless you buy resources. I own over400 game apps and this is only the second time I've warned people not to get an app. Sims is better and you aren't assaulted by ads and extorted for money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Warning! app forces 5 star rating... not worth tuppence, 11 Jan. 2014

All it does is tell you by birth date only which of the three aspects of your birth sign applies... for each 30 day sign there are 3 10 day periods. The first will give your Sun sign influence from the previous Sun sign, the middle is mostly only that Sun sign and third your sign influenced by next sign to come. Fair enough good place to start but what that's it? Yep.

Decanate readings only really work (if you believe at all) when other factors are considered, like rising and moon, and especially geography at birth versus location at reading, but this doesn't consider any of these.

Want to save money? Read the horoscope for your and the previous sign if your born in the first 11 days of your sign. Read only your sign if your born in 11-21 days and if born later than that read yours and the following sign. Tahdah. This is rubbish and not more than a free app that costs money. Go buy a sweet lolly it is better value than this app, and you want to know why everybody else raved?

BECAUSE IT FORCES YOU TO RATE IT FIVE STARS when it asks you to rate it during the app, it only allows a five star rating. I had to leave the app and go through Amazon to give an honest appraisal... if it was that good would it have to coerce a good review? Stay away or just use the free version.

5.0 out of 5 stars Colour, flow... amazing- truly Superior, 21 Sept. 2013
I was lucky enough that the local Spectrum Arts centre gave me a sampler set of MaimeriBlu colours. I had been using a combination of W&N/Cotman colours and Van Gogh, in tube and half pan, but felt a bit frustrated with some muddiness I was experiencing when mixing colours.

From on the verge of quitting watercolour, I tried the Maimeris, and started to have better results... enough that I have hope again and have even commenced new classes to improve my technique. The tutor said "Wow, YOU have MAIMERI?" followed by "Use those, you won't be sorry". He was right- these are the nicest colours I have used.

They have a lovely consistency, intense colour, mix well, tolerate lots of water brilliantly... all in all, they are, as the tub says, "superior". BUT, they cost more... yes, however that you don't need to use as much to get vibrant, bright and reliable colour means its not as dear as you think. I now use an airtight palette box allowing me to preserve paint but I will be transitioning from W&N to Maimeri as soon as I can. I tried 6 samples- 3 with W&N, 3 with Maimeri- same colours. My husband the non-artist could even tell the difference.

You will not regret using these colours- novice, artist or somewhere in between - these are luxurious paints that inspire and contribute to great results. Isn't your art worth something better than the cheap stuff?

2.0 out of 5 stars ok but not great, 21 Sept. 2013

this is a very typical "here's one I drew earlier" type book. It doesn't explain dog A&P, or body language- it just shows several dogs and how they were painted. OK, but if your dog isnt one of those featured... tough.

This book was perfect as the end of an insipid weak and inane last few books....ever since the tv show it has been more important than the stories. What my dog produces is better than this... and I don't mean books.

4.0 out of 5 stars rice is perfect, 11 July 2013
Pros... cooks two cups of rice perfectly in less than ten minutes.

Cons... fiddly and lightweight. No guidance on how to set vent.

Overall, this is a great item. When properly set, it is under a lot of pressure...you must vent it to open or the pressure holds it shut. However, the little clips that secure the lid during cooking easily pop off and now I have to replace the item because when washing one of the clips disappeared. It is not a heavy weight item, but for its price it's good value. It easily comes apart to clean... but watch out for the tidgy clips on the sides!

One reviewer says this isn't a pressure cooker... please trust me that there is quite a bit of pressure that builds up. Maybe, as she mentions that the device didn't fit in her microwave, that her problem was the microwave: this worked fine for over two years being used twice monthly,in a 900 watt large capacity microwave.

No interface, game is unplayable, no hints, no help, no hope. They took pictures of a ship, tried to embed puzzles but forgot to plan how they actually would be solved, you tap and try to interact but the game won't let you. Useless. Spend your money on something more useful, like a boat with a hole in it... it would be more exiting than this sinking attempt at a game. Avoid.

Fun, interesting, but the only way to play other than for only two minutes every four hours. Manage and build game, would be good but only way to really enjoy is to buy gems and resources.

Would be better to pay for game than get it free and pay thru the nose.

4.0 out of 5 stars good game, short, 13 Jun. 2013

Good puzzle game. Special twist with two different views. Lovely and interested art.

Underlying story is a bit naff and doesn't add anything.

No hidden objects (yay!) Good hints.
