Brilliant product. Fits easily and perfectly on my PS4 controllers. The choice of colours livens up the controllers as well. Great for protecting your controllers =)

5.0 out of 5 stars A very cunning disguise, 11 Dec. 2013
Even with Electronic cigarettes now being banned from a great many venues and public places; My dreams came true when I discovered this vegetable shaped beauty! Too often I was finding myself being challenged by passers by, pub landlords and restaurant owners who found the all to conspicuous white plastic e-cigarette with the blue glowing end far too much like a real cigarette for them to wrap their heads around. In steps this wonder of the modern age! Its such great value, I've had at least 600 hundred drags so far and haven't had to buy any refills or charge it once! The fact that the end doesn't glow at all means I can use this safely at night without the fear of attracting moths or the aforementioned business owners. (Apart that is from my local green grocer who follows me around closely whenever I have a cheeky puff in his shop.) The only draw back is that the end can get a bit soggy after a while, however it is fully reversible. I cant recommend this product enough, and it's also a perfect Christmas present for any vegetarian who's thinking of starting smoking.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good piece of kit, 29 July 2013

I have the S3 in white and this adds full protection and makes it look unique and stylish. I'm not going to use the screen protector, stylus or cloth but they are nice add ons. I haven't noticed any loss of signal on my phone as mentioned in another review of this product. The only negative thing I would say about this is that it could do with some grip down the sides as it is still smooth but the rubber edges do add support for your fingers while holding it. Inexpensive and a perfect fit makes this case a great purchase.

2.0 out of 5 stars Rip off, 2 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
My girlfriend insisted I bought this for her as she is a massive Turbonegro fan. Having explained to her that it is just a compilation of articles available on Wikipedia and gave the sense of being a bit of a rip off product she was still adamant that she wanted it bought. It claims to be 100 pages long and indeed it is, however most of these are pages on the history of Scandinavia and nothing to do with the band. I've given it 2 stars as the stuff in it on Turbonegro is interesting if you're a fan but if you don't mind reading the articles on Wikipedia then there's no reason to buy this at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good fun, 1 July 2012
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Having played all the previous olympics games for the ps3 this is certainly the best looking. Quick load screens between events helps as well. This has obviously been designed with "user friendlyness" as its key focus. No longer do you have to waggle your analogue stick or bash away at buttons to race, instead it's more about a steady pace just tapping the x button with your thumb (you actually get penalised and automatically slowed down in races for button mashing, so you have to learn how to get a good tempo going). As opposed to the Beijing 2008 game all events are easy to pick up and play and the most fun you'll get is bragging rights with your friends as to who holds the world records. With up to 4 players off line it's a great multi player which everyone can play. The only criticisms I can give it are that you only get to select 8 events at a time for your own custom events list(although there are plenty of save slots available for any lists you make.)There is no BMX or football events and pretty much all the gymnastic events are missing. There is no beam, parallel bars, floor or rings which were all pretty good in Beijing. The table tennis and Beach volley ball events can take a while and when you're playing in olympics mode they can be a drag when you just want to get on with the other events. Also none of the athletes featured in the game are actually the real thing so you won't be up against Usain Bolt in the 100m or Tom Daley in the diving. On the plus side though this is still the best looking game of its sort on the ps3 and the ease of playability won't have you worried about breaking your controller. All in all it's well worth buying and will have you coming back to break the world records.

Star Wars 4 A New Hope Limited Edition Film Cell
Star Wars 4 A New Hope Limited Edition Film Cell

4.0 out of 5 stars The force is just about strong enough with this one., 16 Jan. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This would have got 5 stars except for the fact it's so small. I read the dimensions of the piece before ordering, so wasn't surprised it was 6x4. However, what it didn't mention was that the cell itself is only slightly larger then a postage stamp. You have no say in which cell of the movie you get sent which is fair enough. The one I recieved features 2 x-wings preparing to attack the death star so i'm fairly happy with that.
The back of the disply is see through, so you only have to hold this up to the light to view the slide, although this means that when it is on a wall it looks plain black. The picture with this looks alright, although I have read other reviews from this same company saying what a cheap copy the picture looks. I'm was tempted to buy the Jaws cell as well but the picture with it looked pretty naff so it's worth going for a film with a decent poster!(and enlarging to check the quality before ordering).
There is no hook on the back or stand that comes with this but it will fit inside a 6x4 frame as it's only about 5mm's deep and would make a great present for any Star Wars fan. The price of around £7 is the going rate at my local memorabilia store for a piece like this so it's good value as well. Just make sure you study the quality of the picture alongside the cell before you order, as this is what you will be looking at more often then the cell itself.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but far from great, 8 Jan. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Personally i'd give this movie 3 out of 5 and that's nothing to do with delivery or picture quality. It's not as good as any of the Matrix movies and borrowed heavily from David Cronenberg's Existenz. The rules about what happened in different dream states changed to suit the story. They never explained how getting into dreams worked or came about. Also aside from the great anti gravity fight scene all the best fx scenes appeared in the trailer which was a let down. Overlong and too slow to get going. By no means a bad film but by no means a great one either.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic value and very funny, 6 Jan. 2011

Just to clear up the usual Thick of it questions. Yes this has all 6 episodes (Series 1 and 2 if you like) and the two 1 hour specials. The only thing it doesn't contain is series 3 which is available in the complete boxset. I decided to buy this instead as it was nearly one third the cost of the boxset and I don't mind waiting a while to pick up a second hand copy of series 3. I looked into this boxset on another site where it said it only contained one disc. I was happy to see that when it arrived it actually has 4 discs (It's the first 2 dvds -Complete series and the specials- put in one box.)

Anyhow, The thick of it is just brilliant with so many classic lines that it makes for great viewing over and over again. There's no point in going into character bio's here as it's all been said before. The cast are great, the writing and improvisation is legendary and at this price it's well worth buying.

4.0 out of 5 stars The quality is still there, 29 Nov. 2010
This review is from: The Living Tree (Audio CD)
I went to see these two in concert in October where they played the album in full. I bought the album after the gig which Rick signed for me. Top Man! Basically it's a decent enough album as you would expect from these two. The only thing that lets it down slightly is the mastering on the album. As they explained during the gig, Rick recorded his keyboard parts in the UK and sent the music over to America where Jon put his vocals on. Unfortunately you can hear the sound difference between the two studios and Jon's vocal performance was better live then it is on the CD. Having said that the songs themselves are well written and Ricks keyboard playing is as legendary as ever. It's more straight forward piano and keyboard based rather then experimental sounding so it won't take 10 listens to get into the songs. The album progresses nicely and it gets better as it goes along, saving my personal favourite songs for last.
A nice mixture of songs appear on the album although as it is just vocal and keyboard there is no drum, guitar or bass to accompany the songs so don't go expecting it to sound like a classic Yes album.
It's nice to hear these two musical legends making quality music still and showing that they are both far from past it. If you are new to either artist then I would recommend starting off with some early Yes albums (Anything between 70-78 for personal preference or Journey to the centre of the earth by Rick Wakeman). However if you are already a fan then you won't be disappointed with this album

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money, 3 Nov. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this last year in 2009 as a christmas present for my parents as I thought it was a nice idea and they are both keen, experienced gardeners. As mentioned in a previous review the naming of the rose is not recognised by any horticultural society which kind of defies the point. The second major issue with this is that 11 months after the seeds were planted in seed trays it wasn't roses that appeared! It was actually 20 weeds with purple flowers. If your looking to buy a rose plant for someone as a gift then use a garden centre where they come ready to plant directly as growing a rose from seed takes years and it is unlikely to happen in a garden in the UK.
