This screen protector works a treat - it went on fine and it's so smooth you don't even notice it's there. They're a nice company to buy from as well.

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 20 Jan 2014

This review is from: Folly (Audio CD)
It's good in parts but doesn't come anywhere near their greatest stuff from the late 80s and early-mid 90s, though I suppose it's a lot to ask. Still of interest to fans though.

A thought-provoking read which made me make lots of notes. It made me laugh a lot as well, at human follies...

Reminds me so much of This Mortal Coil, from which this originates, so if you're yearning for It'll end in tears, or Filligree and Shadow, then this might do it for you too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great - but returned - wrong size, 15 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I ordered size 9 - they came, they looked great, they were not size 9 - it said size 9 on the inside of them but they were more like 9.5/10. Is this why they're cheaper than in the shop? I've had plenty before and size 9 has always fitted. These were way too big - I noticed from the previous feedback that I'm not the only one this has happened to. I'm guessing it's a dodgy batch so will not order shoes online again. However, Amazon refunded me quickly but I'm still annoyed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ultimately a meandering, desperate incoherent bore, 17 Feb 2013
This review is from: Dead Europe (Paperback)
The back cover draws you in - don't be fooled. It does start well on the narrator's odyssey to Greece and the older story is mostly coherent. Then it veers off into a grimly seedy gay travelogue. The bullies are comically bad, the locations comically depraved, everything gets so ludicrous and pointless. Prague is seen as sleaze central - that is utter nonsense, and the writer clearly hadn't actually been there - no locations are mentioned apart from 'King Charles Bridge' - no-one who has ever been to Prague has called it anything other than Charles Bridge. The narrator is an unreliable sex-crazed bore, claiming his love for his boyfriend one minute then the next disappearing down the nearest alley with anyone who'll do. Then there's the menstrual sex bit. Then there's the perpetual superstitious nonsense and a confused cast of characters with many different names. Oh, and then the narrator turns into a vampire. Yes, a vampire. It could have been so good, but it's ultimately dreadful trash. Unusually for me I neither kept the book nor gave it to a charity shop - it went in a public trash can because I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
