I saw this twice the week after it opened, once in the evening and once in the afternoon with different people each time...WE ALL LOVED IT.

I laughed, i cried, i sang out of tune and i danced in my seat, and i left feeling elated.

I can't rememeber the last time i saw a film that made me feel so exhilirated and happy.

Going again in a few week to the local sing-a-long showing lol

Fabulous film!!

There is no escaping the fact that The Lion King is possibly THE greatest Disney Animated film ever, so like many others i was thrilled when it was released 'Special Edition'. Having bought Beauty and The Beast I was expecting great things. Unfortunately I found that the standard of content did not match that of the Beauty and The Beast. There was very little booklet information, just lots of adverts. Also the games were very uninspiring and tedious. As for the Original Theatrical Release, as there was no information telling you were to find it had to sit and scour the whole of both discs...twice, until i eventually found it...in Languages...i mean of course, how silly of me to not have looked there first.
If i had not found it, i can assure you I would have been taking the film back and demanding a refund...Saving grace i can watch the original because the special edition version isnt a patch on it, the song they re- inserted should have been left on the cutting room floor.
But now ive had my gripe will go off again to watch Simba on his journey and sing along to the much loved songs....with one final comment....Hakuna Matata!
