5.0 out of 5 stars just the job, 12 Aug 2012
have upgraded from SX to 6.5 and this was a perfect book as it covered all the new things i have come across, without wasting time on the obvious. definitely not for a beginner, but good for a user of a previous iteration of cubase. well pleased.

2.0 out of 5 stars weak preamps, 12 Aug 2012
i have run this on 64 bit cubase 6. the preamps and headphone out are very weak. you cannot get a good level on a mic unless you use the phantom power. if you plug a guitar straight in, the gain needs to be set so high you get zippering as the chord dies away. very poor. i would return this if...i didnt have a phantom powered mic and i can run my guitar through a zoom 9050 to boost the level... then its ok to use. having said that its very cheap, so....
one more thing... its billed as a 4 in 4 out interface, but 2 of the ins and 2 of the outs are digital only so dont expect 4 xlrs, 1/4 inch jacks or phono jack line interconnectivity.

Tone Deaf Music Acoustic Guitar Clip-on Pick Up
Tone Deaf Music Acoustic Guitar Clip-on Pick Up

4.0 out of 5 stars For the price.... excellent, 19 Dec 2010
tried this yesterday... fits easily and gives a neutral sound. when i run it through some eq in cubase it gives a fantastic tone, add some chorus and it is superb. like the previous reviewer said... you have to be careful not to hit the pick up or guitar body too hard as it picks that up as a very loud click or pop. with this fitted you lose a little bit of the "acoustic" sound of your guitar and it can sound just like a clean electric guitar, so would recommend another mike to blend in with the pickup channel then it would sound perfect. can't really recommend for live work as the lead is quite short. For the price.... excellent ( and I am a fussy git )

Dvd ~ The Who
Price: 12.26

5.0 out of 5 stars if you were wondering, 25 May 2009
This is worth buying purely for the 1981 gig which is superb, the quality is surprisingly good for an 80s tape restoration. Stereo sound is clear but lacks bass.

5.0 out of 5 stars Back Over The Horizon, 1 Oct 2004
This review is from: Devotional [DVD] [2004] (DVD)
If you are interested in Corbijn or Depeche Mode this is a must.
This is a detailed record of the job that Corbijn did for the lads in the 90s. He was instrumental in their winning the respect of us English boys who just thought that they were a bunch of lightweight pretty boys from the 80s.
The concert is an excellent record of the band and why they became one of the worlds greatest and classiest art bands.
No stone is left unturned in the dvd, even down to a page by page section on the 2 tour programmes. The music is passionate and the visuals on the screens are beautiful. A valid retrospective package and not just a quick buck release.
Looking back, even this far, sadly reveals the stunning paucity of current music

1.0 out of 5 stars a word of warning, 19 Mar 2004
although these tracks are well recorded and arranged, I was disappointed to find that this was a "not original artists" compilation.
