His Wicked Kiss: Number 7 in series (Knight Miscellany)

5.0 out of 5 stars a rip-roaring yarn!, 11 July 2006
I approached this book with mixed feelings - wanted to read the last in the Knights Miscellany but really didn't want to see this series end.

As with the rest of the books - this is another passionate, adventure-filled romp, this time set predominantly on the high seas...

Great fun...Guess I'll have to start re-reading the series from the start while waiting for what's next from Ms. Foley...

Fantasy Lover (Dark-Hunter World)
Fantasy Lover (Dark-Hunter World)

5.0 out of 5 stars a wonderfully escapist read...., 26 Jun. 2006
Much as I love the Dark Hunter series I think FANTASY LOVER remains my favourite Sherrilyn Kenyon novel.

It's gloriously escapist. Try explaining the plot to anyone and they think you've gone a little crazy: a greek demigod who's trapped in a book destined to be a sex-slave for all eternity !!!!? But somehow Kenyon takes these ridiculous elements and makes them all work. I love the humour of her books and I love the subtle undercutting of our self-help culture. All in all - wicked fun!

5.0 out of 5 stars An utterly charming novel..., 19 Jun. 2006
This is such fun - a wonderfully witty novel full of sparkling dialogue and lovely characters. Even if you don't usually read historical romances I urge you to give this book a try as it's more like chick lit in a Regency setting than the more classic Georgette Heyer-style of historical romance.

It's a wonderful chocolate souffle of a novel - light-hearted and easy to digest but oozing with charm. A real treat - and deliciously satisfying!

4.0 out of 5 stars An entertaining - if slightly incredulous - tale!, 19 Jun. 2006
The only female member of the Knight family gets her own book...

You have to suspend your disbelief a little to accept the premise of a book which has a lady fall for a thief - and a thief who is more than he seems at that. However, once you do this is terrific fun and fairly zips along...

Also found this more light-hearted than the author usually is but it does have an interesting setting amid the Regency underworld of criminal gangs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another enjoyable Regency romance..., 19 Jun. 2006
This is another fun novel from Foley who is great at combining romance with adventure plots. It alsO has a great hero in Damien who's gloriously aloof when we first encounter him - a wonderfully tortured hero who on the surface appears quite cold but is haunted by his days as a soldier. He is forced to become guardian to the feisty 19-year-old Miranda and gets rather more than he bargained for...

LORD OF ICE is another fine blend of passion and suspense. This is a memorable tale about the power of love and redemption.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great read from Foley..., 19 Jun. 2006
I think I'm becomming addicted to Gaelen Foley's novels as after reading THE DUKE, I couldn't wait to read this, the next book in her KNIGHTS MISCELLANY series. You don't have to have read THE DUKE first as each of these books stands on its own even though Foley is writing about the same family.

As with THE DUKE this is another very sexy read and Foley is great at combining strong sensual romance with a page-turning dramatic adventure plot...

Much enjoyed!Onto the next!

I love Susan Elizabeth Phillips!

Her writing is delightful and she manages to find refreshingly different scenarios to your average rom com...

This is another witty, warm hearted read with wonderful characters and lots of humour.

Very much recommended!
