Well anyone who loves this album obviously won`t be disappointed. What makes this DeLuxe Edition the business is that we have the LP on one disc & all of the extra tracks on disc 2. So you can listen to the album or the extras. Manufacturers take note. This is the way to make a DeLuxe Edition. Oh you won`t be disappointed by the extra tracks either.

Absolutely Awesome,
guitars with character, personality not just the usual mass produced junk. Ability in abundance. Not a verse chorus, verse chorus album just very special pieces of music that certainly reminds me of west coast psych in places but without being too specific because this album is certainly it`s own animal. On the strength of this I got straight back on amazon & have ordered his Voice Of The Seven Woods album. If you like well played guitars/Instruments (with no labels attached), well constructed songs without exception, Rythmn`s that are a lot more interesting/hypnotic than the usual bang-crash bang-crash then you should be looking to buy this album. Listen to the sound samples, that`s all I did & I`ve bought the best album I`ve bought for absolutely ages. I have nothing but good things to say about this

Anybody familiar with the Island Compilation "Bumpers" will know this version of "Jesus Buddha". I`ve been waiting ever since "Bumpers" came out to hear some more of the gig & I haven`t been disappointed at all. I`ve played hardly anything else for 2 weeks. If you like Quintessence you will not be disappointed. The only bad thing is that we had to wait so long for it to be released

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Glastonbury Fayre 1971 DVD (DVD)
As a lot of people. I already had the VHS, stretched & grainy. So my DVD arrived in the post & guess what I did for the week. Sat on my backside playing the dvd again & again & again. Arthur Brown`s Kingdom Come - Quintessence. Where else can you appreciate 2 of the best live bands of the era. There is just about no other footage as far as I know. The choice of music is superb. The grainy picture of the VHS is nowhere near as bad, obviously. The package is awesome. The booklet contans pics from the original LP box set booklet. If you know the film. Buy it and upgrade. If you haven`t seen the film. Buy it you won`t be disappointed. Me, I`m heading towards the dvd player again. Just one more shot of Quintessence & Arthur Brown, not forgetting Terry Reid, Traffic, Family, Melanie. Loads of superb music
