5.0 out of 5 stars High quality cable, 3 May 2011
I was very impressed with the quality of this cable. Having spent hundreds in the past on high end audio cable, I can vouch for the high standard of the connectors and cable itself, which is sufficiently flexible and robust. Of course, this counts for nought if it doesn't deliver, but the connectors go perfectly with a Nikon D7000 DSLR and a Panasonic HD TV and the all important stills and HD video image is top notch. Great value for the price, no need to look beyond this.

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid using with a D90, 25 Mar. 2011
The remote control connector will only work on a D90 if you push it in all the way. That's OK but then the problem is that it won't come out without pulling hard. The result is the connector mechanism stays in your camera when you have eventually managed to pull the cable out. Pliers are then needed to retrieve the metal from your GSP socket on your camera. Not worth the hassle or the risk of damaging your camera, so my advice is stick to Nikon branded, as tempting as it is to save a few quid.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great film, lousy transfer, 12 Feb. 2010
This is a very good thriller but the transfer spoils the enjoyment. Like watching a worn out video cassette tape, hopefully a decent print of this little known film will turn up at some point.

Rupert Bear Annual: No. 74
Rupert Bear Annual: No. 74

1.0 out of 5 stars Yet another poor effort, 18 Sept. 2009
If this is the best Trotter and Egmont can muster they should stop producing the annuals. The drawings are third rate and the narrative dull, apart from the cover this does not improve on last years poor effort. Matters are made worse by the fact that the facsimile annuals, which are still being produced, make the last 2 annuals even worse in comparison. Avoid and spend your money on the reproduction classics instead.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rain on the parade, 21 Dec. 2008
This player has had rave reviews but my model has developed a fault which results in it sounding like a hard drive struggling to do its job. Vibration from the spinning discs is too high resulting in an unacceptable level of noise from the machine, very distracting even during louder moments of programmes. Panasonic have put every penny of the budget for this player into delivering an excellent picture and sound quality, sadly the build quality has suffered as has my confidence in the product. My advice would be to fork out a bit extra and go for a Pioneer player with world class performance and tank-like build quality. A let down.

1.0 out of 5 stars Utter rubbish, 18 Nov. 2006
Cynical, derivative nonsense with computer graphics from the 90's thrown in for good measure. Thankfully the producers have realised it and upped the game with Casino, just as they did with excellent follow-ups from previous films we thought had killed off the series. DAD joins Moonraker and View To A Kill in the weakest link stakes.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Shak album for years, 4 Aug. 2001
This review is from: Under Your Spell (Audio CD)
At last, this is the Shak album I've been waiting for since Manic & Cool. Although the recent stuff has been OK, it hasn't really set the pulse racing. The album is almost a collection of each members musical preferences but in no way is this a negative. The diversity holds your interest right the way through the generous 13 tracks.
Fresh from his excellent Beatifik project, drummer Roger Odell does the business on this CD, contributing 4 great tracks written by himself. There's no Sharp/Odell collaboration on this album - Mr Odell is in a rich vein of form. Sunshine, The Squizzle, Night Time, Falling & Running Back To You are highlights.
Only one disappointment - there's still not enough guitar work following Keith Winter's departure.
