5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant for toddlers, 23 May 2011

This review is from: Pop Up Tent (Toy)
This proved to be a brilliant purchase.

We bought it for our toddlers and it has been used as a play tent outside (it has loops so that you can secure it with pegs at each corner), as well as for football (different shaped doors to kick/throw the ball through) and indoors as a crawl tunnel/play tent. We also sometimes use it for storing soft toys in. Our youngest child plays "peepo" in it, as two of the openings have velcro-fastened material doors. It easily fits two toddlers inside; three can be a squeeze.

It's relatively cheap too (I was almost so sceptical of the low price that I didn't buy it) ... yet we've had more expensive 'themed' tents previously and the only difference is the branding - there's no drop in quality between this one and our "In the Night Garden" one, except, perhaps, that this one is far more robust and the material a little more durable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for a children's party, 22 Mar 2011
Bought for a children's party and it worked out very well - they enjoyed chasing the spots around the room.

We found it functions best when placed on a table in the corner of the room, as the rotating spots then vary greatly in size/speed - it was rather sedate (more like a multicoloured nightlight) when placed in the centre of the room. However, this worked out well for children not tripping over the wire or grabbing the disco ball too, and no extension cord was required.

With the room lights turned off it's great for a couple of songs - though I wouldn't have used it for a prolonged time for young children because of the flashing strobe-like lights in dark conditions.

Just big enough to jazz up a children's disco and just small enough to pack away easily for next time.
