This book is heavy, sturdy and feels like a premium book. The content is also premium. The layout and structure are clear and it's easy to find what you're looking for. The best thing is that this book covers almost everything you ever want to know about game-related mathematics and graphics algorithms. I was positively surprised when I got this book.
This is a wrong book if you want to learn modern OpenGL from the ground up. It has a really confusing structure. The worst thing is the fact that the authors are using their own magic library for everything. This book is ok as a reference, though.
OpenGL 4.0 Shading Language Cookbook is one of the best modern OpenGL books I know. It has a vast content and all algorithms are explained carefully with source code. This book has a lot of interesting stuff for game developers.
This book shows how to build a high-quality physics engine from scratch starting from a simple particle engine and a physics primer. The writer clearly knows what he's talking about. Everything essential is covered. This book is exactly what I was searching for.
