2.0 out of 5 stars Borrow....But Dont Buy, 20 Oct. 2015
I really dont know what the fuss is with this 'game' its not fun in the slightest! i have played guitar for a good 7 years, i dont consider myself to be fantastic but i know quite a bit and im competent and playing and writing a song. I borrowed this off a friend (good choice, im glad i didnt waste my money). i thought this would be useful and i would learn a few extra songs. Well i haven't! firstly the song selection is quite frankly - terrible!. Then onto learning a song - well it cant be done unless you have the patience of a school teacher. I gave up after half an hour and learnt from looking at tabs on the internet. Its basically guitar hero with a real guitar. When its on a simple setting - hitting one string now and again whilst the main bulk of the riff plays in the background. When you knock up the difficulty it just becomes a mess and it doesnt fill you with happiness where as sitting down with tabs in front of you while you go through it, is much more effective. The idea is there, but its a big fail in my opinion

5.0 out of 5 stars OHHH....THEIR BAAAAAACCCCCCKKKKKK, 9 Sept. 2015
Firstly this album contains no classic David Draiman Growls....a little disapointing but .....hell who cares after hearing the album! its epic! i Didnt think they could make an album better than Indestructible but they have managed to. A mixture of songs in my opionion, The Vengeful One is just a masterpeice! Your Mine is a surprisingly funky song for Disturbed. And The Sound Of Silence cover is....well....out of this world! David Draiman has opened up on this album. You must GET IT!!....GET IT!!

3.0 out of 5 stars The depressed looking spaceman on the front cover should give you an idea of how this album sounds, 9 July 2015
This review is from: Ones And Zeros (Audio CD)
I'm a big fan of Young Guns and absolutely love the first two albums. I had high hopes for this one but im rather disappointed. They have mellowed on this album. It takes a few listens, and in my opinion there's really only 3 stand out songs - Rising Up, I Want Out and Daylight. The rest are quite frankly average and a little boring. Theres nothing there which stands out. Don't get me wrong its a good album and worth adding to your collection but its not a patch on their previous albums

5.0 out of 5 stars Prove those haters wrong!, 6 Mar. 2015
This review is from: Shine (Audio CD)
I was gutted when Nightwish decided to get rid of Anette. So i was excited when i heard she was going to release a solo album. It was a love hate relationship with many fans during her time in Nightwish. Personally i thought she was brilliant and i actually prefered her to Tarja. Anyway this is a completely different sound, its more melodic, a laid back, softer sound. and the opening track gets you hooked straight away. Highly recommended

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as bad as people make out!, 20 Nov. 2014
This review is from: No Fixed Address (Audio CD)
Ignore the haters! granted its not as good as previous albums, its alot lighter and easy going but if your a die hard nickleback fan and are quite open minded like me, you will want to get it. Alot of negative reviews are very over the top in my opinion. Every band experiments, has blips, changes their direction slightly but nickleback haven't gone drastic (apart from their hip hop song with flo rida - which isnt that bad in all honesty). The nickleback sound we know and love is still there. Give the band a break!

5.0 out of 5 stars One Word - EPIC, 6 Oct. 2014
This review is from: Savages (Audio CD)
Such a good album! its a lot heavier and darker than previous albums which personally i love. But theres still the light poppy elements to it. For me its their best album. the only song which stands out and shouldnt really be on the album from my point of view is 'The One' . If you have a spare £10 get this. You wont be dissapointed. put it in your car, crank of the volume and enjoy!

I was skeptical about getting this dvd. Even though i am a big fan i read reviews of how disappointing it is. Then a line from Joe Pasquale came into my head which is 'if you cant enjoy a couple of hours of crap once in a while then theres something wrong with ya' I decided to go for it because at £5 you cant go wrong. It was money well spent. Ok to be fair the show is focused heavily around drinking and as im not much of a drinker i did think 'hmmm' but never the less, his energy and story telling, his impressions and his funny faces have you laughing for ages.
