Awful book whizzed though it in a couple of hours most of the tips are plain obvious or you'll soon learn e.g. use a tripod... buy better lenses shoot lots etc and every chapter has awful humour to open very disappointed waste of money just glad brought a second hand one.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great specification big disapointment, 24 July 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
On first look this tripod looks amazing for its price, great weight, height (even with only four leg sections) and a ball head with a bubble level on camera platform, however in testing the tripod turned out to be a big disappointment. The legs are very wobbly at full extension and the clips have a very cheap plastic feel putting me on edge ready to catch my camera at any moment. Worst of all though, despite looking similar to many excellent ball heads, mine simply refuses to lock in place no matter how tight I turn the locking knob this is the same for the central column and would not recommend use with a heavy camera.

Overall this tripod has impressive looking specifications and advanced features compared to price but is ruined by its rickety-ness and useless ball head
