One of the years biggest talents all the way from New Zealand is certainly showing us what a great voice she has.

Sounds like the tune of 2013.

Logitech Media Keyboard 600 - Keyboard
Logitech Media Keyboard 600 - Keyboard

This is a nice keyboard to type on, esp at speed (using it to type this review now.) and has useful shortcuts which are easy to re-programme from the keyboard software provided on the CD.

Took a while to set up on Windows 7, but once it was recognised, drivers were installed easily enough and the benifits of enjoying one touch access and control of launching the internet/ Music/Video/OpenOffice suite/VOIP (Skype etc..) as well as the usual shortcuts without remembering countless keyboard combinations or moving the mouse is a real boon and is a nice time saver.

The lay-out is the usual affair, except for a few extra buttons on the top of the keyboard console including a volume wheel/media playing buttons as well as a search/email/internet/voip buttons by default which can be changed to whatever command you need using Logitechs mouse and keyboard software provided. The delete button is bigger than usual which helps if you need to launch taskbar/delete apps and such, but unfortunately though it's easy to assign keystroke commands for the hotkeys, CTRL+ALT+DELETE (Taskmanager) didn't come by default and wasn't easy to programme in. Hopefully that can be resolved with a software update. The lock buttons can be easily checked if they're activated or not thanks to the LED green panel been in the centre rather than the usual left hand side of the keyboard. This is easy to check in your eye-line without having to move your head.

You do have to remember the blue shortcuts along the F buttons can be switched on and off, so I guess in the windows enviroment you need to be careful you don't accidently open shortcuts you don't need to by pressing the F Mode button once next to Pause/Break Button. It works pretty much like Caps/Number lock buttons on a normal keyboard to prevent shortcuts from been used.

This replaced my old keyboard which was the cheaper flat type which was difficult for me to use and type. The nice ergonomics and nifty shortcuts are really a big upgrade on that plus it's a more comfortable typing experience which is the main thing. :)

I managed to pick this up half price at Tescos for just £8 which is great value considering it looks and feels like a premium product worth more than double that. If you can find this keyboard for under £10 it's a great improvement on the generic keyboards you get with cheap systems and is easy to programme the shortcuts and a good typing experience.

Belleville Rendez-Vous (The Triplets of Belleville)

A quirky french animation about a young boy who realises his dream. It's a movie I haven't seen which I have been meaning to see for a while and strange quality about it drew me in. Its interesting to see the relationship develop with the young boy and his grandemother over the years, the funny clockwork barking of the dog and I like the way the beginning mirrors the ending. Its caricatural nature and the musical tie-in make it a funny and enjoyable watch. Cracking 'silent movie', a must see for those into the wierd and wonderful.

A fairly good feel-good movie portraying the love affair of a old brit he is gets into Wimbledon by a wildcard. Kirsten Dunst plays the feisty american gunning for the title. After a odd, chance meeting, they soon hit it off and they tennis careers in wimbledon takes shape.

It has its charm, but its Notting Hill/Love Actually rip is pretty evident and it's seems americans never grow tired of a posh Hugh Grant-esque brit with a stiff upper lip (well almost) *yawn* Disappointed they couldn't get any tennis stars in there and certainly the lack of realism on the wimbledon game these days is there are much fewer rallies due to its increased speed, although clearly a epic rally makes greater tv/movies than real life.

Overall good in parts but too similar to other movies (which were better implemented) and it didn't really catch the mood or had a faint of realism for me as a tennis fan.

I thought it's potrayal of the slums in Rio was excellent. You could really feel the pain and suffering through each character, from the begining to the end, false dawns and the main character somehow coming through it all to realise his dream. Some good perfomances in there. A really good watch.

I thought it was a decent movie. Good performance as usual from Denzel, Val Kilmer had was decent as well. Special effects was a bit much, but all in all, fairly enjoyable.

Decent family based comedy with kung fu action provided by Jackie Chan and the usual tomfoolery provided by Chris Tucker. Didn't think it was as good as the first two, but still had some decent laughs and action in it, even tho at times it was predictable. I thought the action sequences were ok and the femme fatales wren't too bad tho lacked a bit compared to the 2nd one imo.

The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)

The Bourne franchise ups the stakes in the third instalment with Matt Damon determined to find out his true past much to the continued chagrin of the CIA who want to stop him. I enjoyed this one, had a bit more than the first two, good special effects and Damon put a sterling perfomance alongside Julia Stiles. The new assassins certainly push him to the limit and the twist at the end held my breath for a while and concluded the film well imo.
