1.0 out of 5 stars Looks good.............and thats about it!, 26 Oct. 2011
I wanted a new headset for the release of Battlefield 3, and didn't want one that has a band that goes over the top of my head so when i saw this headset i was hooked. It has a very military look to it and its small and light with a flexible earhook to fit any ear.
When i went to use it i found myself tweeking it for a good 10mins trying to get it to fit snuggly on my ear, which i never actually achieved, the sound quality was ok but every time i brushed the cable on my t-shirt i got a crackling noise remenisent of a pair of early ninties headphones. My fellow gamers could not hear me speaking unless i talked very loudly and then there was a lot of background noise.

In summary the one star is purely for looks! In my opinion either make do with the standard Xbox headset or buy a wireless headset (which i have done for only £19.95 on Amazon), but do not buy this headset!

2.0 out of 5 stars 20 years of playing, what a DISAPPOINTMENT!, 1 Oct. 2011
This review is from: FIFA 12 (PS3) (Video Game)
I'm sure some moron will abuse me for my negative comments but this is a review of MY personal opinion of this game and not theirs!

I've owned every version of FIFA since the first one on Sega Megadrive and i have to say this is the first version that has made me consider buying PES.

It has its good points like great graphics, fully licensed teams (including players and kits), a boat load of options and gameplay modes and the brilliant impact engine.
But EA have gone and made a huge mistake and changed the in game defending and basically over complicated them. The new tactical defending just doesn't work (i know you can change to the traditional option now called 'legacy defending' in the options but even they don't have the same feel to them). When Norwich players are weaving through the Chelsea defence like a bunch of Ronaldo clones or something is drastically wrong!
Then to make matters worse EA have made it harder to score, which was totally unnecessary!

I am that disappointed i have put my copy on e-bay and i am currently moving players to their new clubs on FIFA 11 which is a far better game, i'm just glad i didn't trade it in when i bought FIFA 12!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ignore some reviews they refer to the marketplace seller and not the product!!!, 31 Jan. 2010
Owning both xbox 360 and ps3 i have to say this is by far the supperior controller and the motion control is cool (if the game allows it) try killzone 2 for the opening of flood gates using the controller as the wheel!!! IGNORE ALL THE ONE AND TWO STAR REVIEWS THEY ARE COMMENTING ON A PRE-CHRISTMAS PRICE SET BY A THIRD PARTY (NOT AMAZON) SELLER AND NOT THE ACTUAL CONTROLLER!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ex PES fan turns to the EA side of the force!!!, 23 Dec. 2007
This review is from: FIFA 08 (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
Since PES was first released on PS2 i've been a huge fan the pick up and play ability of it was great even a quick 10 min game usually turned into a long session and everything else getting forgotten. As time has gone by i've upgraded PES every yearand moved onto Xbox 360 instead of PS2, and this is were PES reign began to slip, but i soldiered until PES 2008 was released. I rushed to the shop £40 in hand ready for the next thrilling instalment of PES, i got home and started to play (yes PES has always had its floors lack of real teams and only having premiership sides). Hold on this isn't football that defender has just run the full length of the pitch and scored and as for the Xbox live mode slow down doesn't cover it!!! So the greatest football game of all time has turned rubbish what do you do? You bite the bullet and buy FIFA 08 and discover that EA have made the best football game ever!!! Amazing graphics, truly challenging gameplay, AND real teams with real names AND you can play as hundreds of English sides from Arsenal to Rotherham United what more could a REAL football fan want apart from Ronaldinho running up the wing for their club oh yeah that could happen in FIFA 08 in manager mode! In short don't be put off by previous FIFA outings do the right thing and buy FIFA 08, any way i'm off to sign Thierry Henry for Sheffield United well it ain't gonna happen at Bramall Lane!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars heavenly girl, 16 May 2005
This review is from: Daybreaker (Audio CD)
I bought this album after hearing some of Beth Orton's work with the Chemical Brothers, and its a classic!!! Truely amazing vocals mixed with excellent music you just can't go wrong, from start to finish its a winner. For me the best track is 'carmella' but the other 9 tracks are great aswell!
Buy this album and you won't be sorry!
