Halo: Silentium (Forerunner Trilogy 3)
Halo: Silentium (Forerunner Trilogy 3)
Price: £3.59

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic conclusion, 3 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This brings the events of the series full circle. Cryptum and Primordium were truly only the back-story for this thrilling conclusion. It brings things round with a full explanation of the events surrounding the Didact's imprisonment on Requiem and the Librarian's presence on that same planet as well as alluding to the grim fate that awaits the future of Halo. My only criticism is that the ending is (intentionally I'm sure) vague as to the fates of several characters. Warning - must not be read unless you have already read the previous two novels or it will make little sense. Greg Bear really did save the best until last.

Halo: Ghosts of Onyx
Halo: Ghosts of Onyx
by Eric Nylund
Edition: Paperback
Price: £5.59

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favourite books, 12 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Halo: Ghosts of Onyx (Paperback)
This book is post-Halo 3 and begins the saga (Ghosts, Glasslands, The Thursday War) which bridges the events of Halo 3 into Halo 4... Truly fantastic. Glad to see Nylund return to the franchise. My favourite book in the series.

Halo: Contact Harvest
Halo: Contact Harvest
by Joseph Staten
Edition: Paperback
Price: £6.29

4.0 out of 5 stars Good background, 12 April 2013

This review is from: Halo: Contact Harvest (Paperback)
Provides good background to the story, spearheaded by the awesomeness that is Sergeant Avery Johnson Junior, but essentially tells you nothing knew - the war began on Harvest and Johnson was there. Seems fairly redundent to have a book on that particular encounter - nonetheless, the book is an enjoyable read.

5 Star Office Flipchart Pad Perforated 40 Sheets A1 Plain
Price: £10.47

5.0 out of 5 stars Good A1 chart, 12 April 2013

Good A1 chart of 40 sheets, I am still going through those forty sheets now and use them regularly. They have many potential uses, but you already know what you'd use them for if you were looking at this product. Relatively inexpensive too.

Halo: The Cole Protocol
Halo: The Cole Protocol
by Eric Nylund
Edition: Paperback
Price: £5.59

4.0 out of 5 stars One of the less good books, 12 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book is less well-written than previous and later books unfortunately, Tobias Buckell I fell doesn't really have any investment into the universe nor any particular understanding of it. Also, the book "Cole Protocol" doesn't really contribute much to the Halo canon - particularly when the first book, The Fall Of Reach, actually explains just what the Cole Protocol is and explains that there is a character called Admiral Cole - you can do the math - this book seems quite unnecessary and disappointing. However, for any seasoned fan its quite an enjoyable three-hundred-or-so pages, so go for it.

Great pens for use in arty-style work and for perhaps producing large diagrams and such. Good addition to the office stationary.

Brand New Black Silicone Case/Skin for Samsung S8500 Wave with screen protector from Gadgetwarehouse Mobile Phone Accessories

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing impressive, 12 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Don't buy this, I have it and it isn't a very trustwothy case, the bit which covers the buttons makes it difficult to use the buttons underneath and the protective silicone case doesn't feel very trustworthy. Buy plastic in stead, it is safer.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothign impressive, 12 April 2013

Nothing impressive. Silly colour for such a dark phone. I don't trust it to protect the phone to be honest. Buy a plastic case rather than gel/silicone.

FLASH SUPERSTORE SAMSUNG S8500 WAVE LCD SCREEN PROTECTOR AND CIRCLES PATTERN GEL SKIN COVER/CASE ORANGE
FLASH SUPERSTORE SAMSUNG S8500 WAVE LCD SCREEN PROTECTOR AND CIRCLES PATTERN GEL SKIN COVER/CASE ORANGE

5.0 out of 5 stars Best case I could find, 12 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This case is strong and durable, relatively bouncy (so if you drop the phone - don't worry!) and the front of the case is quite thick so that even if your phone landed straight down the screen would still be safe. Good purchase.
