3.0 out of 5 stars colourful, 27 Aug 2013

Very colourful but not slinky enough. The plastic could not stretch enough even to form the semicircle. It was too stiff. Then again, it does well as adornments for fingers, good for teaching colours and colour combinations.

Such a variety of animals. Not very well made but it gave my 3-year-old grandson and me a lot of play acting, making animal noises...

I was quite disappointed with the soft toy. It is soft and cuddly but I would not have bought it had I viewed the physical item. It was too expensive for what I paid.

lots to talk about with the child and at so many levels!

Children from 3 years onwards will appreciate the tactile stimulation. Older children can explore the reasons why paleontologists decide such a shape or size should be likely.

4.0 out of 5 stars A detective story that isn't!, 26 Aug 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a rather clever story. It leads the reader through what appears to be a detective's analytical procedures, all the while revealing, gradually, the machinations of a mind in the throes of madness.

I like the way the author details the way thought processes work and conclude. Didn't realise that that is alsohow I think and decide about simple mundane things, sounds, distances, etc.
