5.0 out of 5 stars Superb customer service, fab product, 21 Nov 2013
I recently bought this Cat tree from Cleopets. It arrived very quickly but on assembly it was clear that it didn't have all the correct parts.
Chris at Cleopets responded incredibly quickly and within a day I receieved the missing parts and was able to put it together. It looks great and was just what I was after.
It's easy to provide good customer service when everything goes right, but truly excellent service really comes to light when there's a problem.
Will happily deal with Cleopets again and recommend them to others.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great album, 6 Nov 2013

Thought it would be impossible to top Ghost and his Electric Presidents Sleep well album, but have to say I love the cut down feel of this album.
Recording quality is fab, and it's a hard person who doesn't feel moved by Always Gold.
Can't stop listening to this album and can't wait for the next one in the Family Tree series. Pity that the Family Tree:The Bastards vol 1 doesn't appear to be available to buy anywhere.
Best album I'be bought this year by far.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great album, 6 Nov 2013
Arrived today and very different from the previous Family Tree album. On the third listen now and improving every time.
Quality of the recording is excellent and makes for a detailed and very enjoyable album. Singing style varies throughout and is reminiscent of the Junkyard Chandelier on some tracks and Sleep well (Electric Presidents) or The Roots on others.
If your not familiar with his other albums and projects a quick trip to Ben Coopers website [...] is very much recommended.
Overall very much recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars Reworking of the 'Sullivan Mystery', 31 Oct 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I recieved this CD through the post this morning and immediately started to listen.
After a few minutes it all seemed terribly familiar and although I'm only half way through I'm pretty confident that this is a reworking of the recently released 'Paul Temple and the Sullivan Mystery' (a full cast BBC version starring Crawford Logan and Gerda Stevenson). If not the plot line's too similar for words!

Much as I like Anthony Heads narration I have to say I'm dissapointed that the BBC have released the same story but with a different title, which feels a bit below the belt.
What makes it worse is that up till now all the CDs to date, (whether orginal/re-recorded radio releases or the excellent Anthony Head versions) have all been different stories and if my basic maths are correct there are still some missing.
Come on BBC we deserve better than this.

Anyway, if you haven't got the sullivan mystery then it's worth a go, but even then it's not one of Francis Durbridges best.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's not real, but it is good, 18 July 2009
This review is from: Star Trek [DVD] (DVD)
Let's face facts... it's a movie and a good one at that.

The vast majority of people buying this DVD will be looking for a good enjoyable sci-fi movie. They won't be looking to totally immerse themselves in the Star Trek world; attending conferences wearing silly costumes and arguing about every little inconsistency in the script and how it deviates from previous films/episodes.

Honestly, it's not a documentary and shouldn't be viewed as one.

It's a really good sci-fi film that even my wife loved (whose normal preference is for rom-coms or period drama). Watch it as a fun piece of escapist film making and I'm sure lots and lots of people will enjoy it. It's got well rounded characters and a rapidly progressing plot line that allows the film to stand on its own merits without the viewer needing to have seen every other film in the series.
Try and view it hyper-critically and you'll be disappointed, as you'll note from some of the other reviews.
Your choice.

2.0 out of 5 stars If in doubt, buy Resident Evil 4 instead, 13 Aug 2008
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this game after reading positive reviews for it on Amazon.
Despite some novel weaponary and interesting backgounds, you'll quickly find the gameplay limiting. The most obviously flawed area, is that when you're injured you just need to hide for a few seconds and your health magically restores itself. This coupled with the fact that the game is far too short, means that it is very easy to complete.
If you're after a first person shooter, buy Resident Evil 4 instead. If you can get past the whole 'zombie' thing, you'll find the gameplay much more involving and fun.
Time will tell if the new 'Call of Duty' or 'Brothers in Arms' will improve on this or not, but at the moment RE4 is the game to beat.
