5.0 out of 5 stars 100% Pure Talent at it's best!, 17 Dec. 2009
This review is from: Bad (Audio CD)
This album, was on release at the heyday of my role-models career. Nothing, seemed to be able to stop him. Thriller was the biggest-selling record of all time. Jackson, had won 8 Grammy Awards for the album. Fame seemed to smile on him, and he was at the top of the world (literally).

However, knowing Michael's perfectionist attitude, he wanted to do something different, something better than Thriller. Unfortunately he did not reach his goal, but made millions from a sell-out tour, and what we have hear is a well-packaged record, with very up tempo and rhythmic beats.

As soon as you hear the opening song, "BAD" you just want to rock the dance floor, with it's bad boy in- your -face attitude. MJ was not only a musician, but an actor. He could express different people through his music, and provided a voice for them. A humanitarian, he sings of gangs, suffering, poverty, fame, prostitutes and exposure. There is so much power and cool to the music. This may not be the biggest-selling-record of all time, but it sure is a must have and couldn't have been done to as high a quality, if it hadn't been Michael Jackson: KING OF POP!

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect Guide! (By son of reviewer), 6 Dec. 2009
Don't think me queer, been a guy reading this book( okay Im not completely a 100% macho), but this isn't about me, it's about a book full of extremely useful info!
Due to my interest in jornalism (as well as fashion), it is a must for you guys out there aspiring to work in fashion.

It is a behind-the-scenes guide to how the magazine runs, ranging from the designers, editors, photographers, etc.
Plus the photos are so glossy, and arty!

The book is beautifully put together and is suprisingly fun to read apart from the other "what goes on" type of books.
You will regret not buying it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Classic in it's own!, 25 Nov. 2009
There is no doubt about it, this piece is true classic literature. The story line is touching, and no-one else could right it but Hemingway. The only thing is, and I don't aim to sound like an English teacher, but I just want to tear my hair out, at the fact that the word "said" is used so many time's it make's me fall asleep. Where's the expression.

Hemingway was a real, well-travelled, humanitarian. Shame he took his own life, which seems to run in the blood. However I simply love this book.

Silence Of The Lambs: (Hannibal Lecter)

by Thomas Harris
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.99

5.0 out of 5 stars The greatest killer-thriller of the 20th Century!, 25 Nov. 2009
It's a chiller, it's a thriller, only thing is, it's not in Manila! Silence of the Lambs is a gripping read for all horror-crime goer's out there! Those of you with a weak immune system may not be able to cope, with the word's in this book. Do not read it before you go to bed. It is simply a clinger, you can't stop reading, when you get into it.
This is usually within 10-15 minutes of reading.

Hannibal Lecter, is such an addictively, charming character. The whole point though is, just read it!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book on CLUB CULTURE!, 25 Nov. 2009
The Ministry of Sound book is a gem if you are a clubber, have a passing interest in club-culture, or simply music, then this book literally beckons! The book is up to the quality of an extremely entertaining history book, looking back at the different scene's which inspired the ministry and made it what it is today. Personally, I recommend it because of the list of many famed club's, including the legendary Studio 54.
It is not my intention to give to much away, it is a rare book, so if there is any interest in this book then you should get your hand's on it as soon as possible, it's worth every penny. Enjoy!

3.0 out of 5 stars For the under 16 ACTOR! (By Reviewer's son, once again), 25 Nov. 2009
This book is a must-have for every budding actor in their youth. I found many of the passages in it useful and helpful. The very important bit's were getting into the role for me, but it wouldn't be very useful for people in their teens who wish to be an actor when they're OLDER, (it's more of a child star's guide). Apart from that you could find some very useful acting tips in this, and there is some very useful advice on the business of acting!

5.0 out of 5 stars Michael Jackson: The life of a Superstar cut Short! (Written by Reviewer's Son), 23 Nov. 2009
He's everywhere, he still fill's the tabloid's, he had talent like no other, he's on your tv screen. You can't miss Michael Jackson, it's impossible, even the kid's in Africa know him.

However, what was behind the image? Who was the real man? This book show's a life that couldn't be lived by anyone else. They'll never be a Michael Jackson again. When the news of the late Michael's passing came knocking on my door, I knew the whole world was crying as well as I.

Michael Jackson, was a family man, he loved children, but not in the way the media made it look. It's coincidentally funny how now the press who once loathed him are now turning their back's toward him, in respect so that they can make extra money for their own selfish self's by exclaiming what a wonderful man he was. It's fake.

What is in this book though is a handsome glimpse into the lifestyle and many achievment's of the 13-time Grammy award winner. God bless you Michael! Your in peace now! The lord smiled on you and now you are with him.
