5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 22 Feb. 2008
This review is from: This Is the Life (Audio CD)
After hearing This is the Life on Radio 2 I had to listen at the end to find out who was singing. When my daughter noticed the name written down she said she already had her album and how good it was. After listening to it myself I can only agree with the other reviews. It's very rare to find an album that all the tracks sound great on the first listen but this is one of them and they just keep sounding better and better.

5.0 out of 5 stars As Brillant As The Rest!, 28 Aug. 2004
Joshua Jones is in my opinion just as good as the very famous Postman Pat and Fireman Sm yet he seems to go unrecognised.
"Follow that famous bargee Joshua Jones and his friends Fiona, Spanner and Fairport the dog, down the canal with four great stories"
The episodes are short but are filled with entertainment and enjoyment for everbody.
The characters are funny and create a good story to watch for everybody, especially the rather dumb and clumsy Spanner!
If you want a little light-hearted entertainment I recommend you opt for Joshua Jones.
"Joshua Jones
He can live whereever he goes".....very catchy theme tune!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book for A level, 9 Sept. 2003
I used this book for my AS level Law course and found it invaluable. Each chapter starts with an introduction and gradually becomes more in depth as the chapter moves on, which ables students to easily follow and understand each topic on the syllabus.
I have also found the book will be useful for my A2 course, as the first half of my A2 course requires the use of the police sections which are featured in the book.
Overall really useful for helping on A level courses, and i actually used this book instead of my notes when it came to revision so also saves on buying a revision guide etc

4.0 out of 5 stars De-Junk your rubbish...but don't chuck out the book!!, 21 July 2002
This book was brilliant to read. Some really good ideas.
You can take a quiz to find out what sort of areas of your life you need to de-junk.
By following this book and watching the marvellous program "Life Laundry" you will certainly have a junk-free life.
Although it has many good ideas it has not inspired me enough to actually de-junk mylife

5.0 out of 5 stars The Sims are on holiday..so u won't want to, 21 July 2002
This fantastic new add-on is very addictive.
Rather than hot date just taking 2 people to downtown you can now take the whole family.
You can visit a winter wonderland - have snowball fights, take a snow slide ride, show off you snowboarding tricks on the half-pipe, sleep in an igloo and even be entertained by a yeti.
Take a sunny beach break - play volleyball(up to 8 sims), take a splash down the slide into a refreshing pool, sleep in a cosy hotel, and let your kids be entertained by a beach shark.
Or even rest in the deseted forest (haha) - Like you'll rest when you can go fishing, sleep in a tent, play archery, hire metal detectors an dbe entertained by the one and only ROBIN HOOD!
If you have any questions just ask the Holiday Director who is available in all scenarios.
It is extremely fun building your own holiday venues but when clearing out all old stuff DO NOT delete the phone or your sims will be stuck on holiday forever. You cannot seem to buy them.
You can play arcade games and win prize tokens - swap your prize tokens for gifts and souvenirs. You can even buy souvenir shelves to store all your holiday memorabilia on.
You can send postcards to your neighbours.
You can have picnics and eat off the ALL U CAN EAT BUFFET.
Stay in a ski lodge, summer hotel or wooden huts.
The hotels actually work as hotels and you cannot sleep in the beds unless you check in.
This game really is worth buying and when added with hot date you get the oppurtunity to take a family break with the kids or take a night out from them in downtown.
Pity you can't hire babysitters for the kids and see how rebellious they can be.
A definite must have for all sims fanatics.
BEWARE very addictive. The time flies by when you are playing!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hottest Date yet!, 21 July 2002
This is a fanmtastic add on to the rest of the sim family.
You can build your own areas of downtown or visit the incredible ready made ones. Items can be purchased solely for downtown or you can evn bring downtown home with you and add a few sizzling items to your house.
This game offers you the chance to meet new Sims from all around and hopefully get a date with them. To win them over take them to a posh restaurant or if your a bit short of simoleons go for a slice of pizza, hotdog or burger.
There are new skins which are groovy!
There are alot more interactions. Therefore more ways to entice your new date. Kids have more interactions with other kids and adults.
I would recommend if you are building your own area of downtown that you place a bed there. The Sims do get tired, which is not good in the middle of your HOT DATE when you get cranky with them and then risk losing your friednship.
Definitely worth the money and amazon is the cheapest i have found.
