This is a pretty handy book. For the depots it covers it provides excellent directions and very useful photographs from legal vantage points to enable the photographers amongst us to determine what equipment is required or whether or not to bother.
Time to get the hiking boots out

so laid back it's almost horizontal
Most Marillion fans know fuil well how good a guitarist SR is so it won't come as any surprise that this release hits the mark.
The visual continuity is not very good in places but you certainly can't fault the music.
Top notch Mr Rothery, not that I would expect anything any less from Steve.

5.0 out of 5 stars Power Plant, 19 Sept. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a cracking effort from Mr Plant.
He is one of the few artists around to know the power of drums, this album is full of fantastic rhythm with a group of artists that appear to be enjoying what they are playing.
It's dark, sexy, demanding of a listen.
One of his best solo albums that's for sure.
If you like Plant's voice you'll love this album.

You can tell EC loves the blues simply by listening. He puts more emotion into his guitar playing than the average singer puts into their favourite song.
Maybe he is playing it a bit safe with these covers?
But when you consider he's one of the best who cares, just put the record on and chill.

Interesting to hear a band from start to middle period.
You can hear the improvement with each album.
For the price this is a winner especially if you have these albums on vinyl and want the conveniance of a CD.
The bonus tracks on these cd's make this a worthwhile purchase.

Tourist Trains Guidebook
Tourist Trains Guidebook

Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars Good thing in a small package, 30 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to update a version I bought when I first went to America.
If you want to know where all the tourist trains and museums are in America then this is like a one stop book.
Considering it's quite a small book they do manage to cram in an awful lot of detail and this detail will enable you to plan your visit based on state.
It's a useful little book and will be well thumbed prior to any visit to the USA.
I would love a version of this for Europe.

4.0 out of 5 stars A bit more than red boxes, 24 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a useful little book which gives you an idea of the locomotives that can be seen around Germany.
It would get five stars if the text would have been available in English but no matter a little bit of work soon enables the reader to translate.
The variety available to the Euro trainspotter is illustrated here and certainly made me want to visit Germany again.
Sure there are still a lot of red boxes around Germany but it is getting more colourful everyday.

Third album and again she veers off on another tangent and swings back for more of the same.
Paloma has a great band and very talented backing singers in her troope and she paints a fine picture with all that talent and her obvious own talent.
I thought it a bit strange to have alternative takes of songs on the album but having listened a few times it does work.
Even the single has grown on me but it won't take a genious to see which song is going to be the next single.
If Paloma's voice does it for you then you will like this album.
She's growing up and a maturity is starting to show.

This is a useful little book for spotters in the UK. Apart from having a picture for virtually every class of train in the livery concerned it also shows you the routes each company plies.
The photo captions also give you an idea on which line of route you can see each individual class, which is very useful if the class is only a few units in number.
I've yet to come up with any cons for this book so it's a recommondation from me.

I was a bit apprehensive when I got this as I'd only heard the single and didn't think much of it.
I need not of worried, the girl's on form and belts out song after song.
There is a more mature tone to Lisa's voice nowadays and she brings her experiance to the fore on several of these songs.
If you are a fan of Lisa, and I certainly are, then you will enjoy this album.
I bought the special edition and would recommend that over the ordinary editon as the live bonuses are worth the premium.
As Lisa says herself 'It's great this'
