Great little game, 6 Jan 2013
I bought this game for my 5 year old daughter and she loves playing it. The levels are easy enough for smaller children and get a little harder as the levels progress which is great for older players.

Great, 6 Jan 2013
I bought this for my in-laws as they love doing puzzles, it was easy to install and great value for money. There are more than enough puzzles to keep them going for the rest of the year.

Nearly there.., 6 July 2012
I got this book because I have other Deepak Chopra books, I'm not massively overvweight, just enough to make me feel that I should do something about it. I have yo-yo dieted for years, but I wanted to find a way of eating that meant I wasn't either on or off a diet. Firstly you need to read this book a few times for the ideas, especially about for some of the Ayurvedic principles to sink in. The book includes things like eating what you want for the first two weeks, this may sound strange but he asks you to eat more slowly and get used to feeling full, and to stop eating when you have had enough. I did this and for the first few days I found it hard to get my head around. but slowly but surely I seemed to eat less and less. Then after this two week period he takes you through a system of eating that will keep you healthy and balanced and help you to maintain a weight that is healthy for you. To be honest I found some of the suggestions hard, since they included herbs that I just can't get hold of here in the UK. And although he says it's not a diet, you are following a set of rules depending on the type of person you are. All in all I took some great ideas from this book, I think that to follow it to the letter, could be hard for some people, especially if they work full time. I took the principles that I could work with from this book and I have lost some weight and slowly but surely I am reducing in size. I have given it 4 stars, just because I think that to follow his ideas completely would be hard for most people. The book does take a different approach to weight loss and I found it very useful from that perspective and I especially enjoy drinking ginger tea now.

Helps you find your happiness, 6 July 2012
I bought this book as I have several other Deepak Chopra books. It's a great little book, just full of ideas that will help anyone find more happiness in their life. Like many of his books, it is easy reading and takes some deep spiritual practices and idealogical and makes them accessible. It helped me understand that happiness is a choice that we can make and life doesn't have to be as hard as some of us make it out to be. All in all a very satisfying read, and one that I keep on dipping into week after week, for inspiration. In fact I don't think there is one page that hasn't escaped at least one swipe of my highlighter somewhere in the text. If you want a book that will give you some good ideas on how to lead a happier and more balanced life then I would recommend it. It's easy and quick to read and it doesn't get too heavy on spirituality, just enough to help you live your life in a happier way.

I loved this Book, 6 July 2012
A friend recommended this book to me, since they thought that some of the poems would help me both in my yoga practice and also in my recovery from depression and exhaustion. How right they were. This is a lovely little book, with some very inspiring poems and thoughts about finding balance in your life. I particularly like Closed Fist, Open Hand, which is all about letting go of the past and dark thoughts. All the poems were well written and I dip into it when I am in need of inspiration or just want to feel uplifted. You don't have practice yoga to like this book, I do, but not to any great standard and you could just read this book as a lovely collection of inspirational poetry. All in all I loved this book.

Great Little Book, 6 July 2012
I got this book as I had some others by Deepak Chopra, I know that some people don't rate him, but I think that he puts spiritual concepts across in an easy to understand way that makes it easy for you to grasp what he is saying, unlike some other authors in this genre who make it very hard work. I liked the fact that he gives you exercises that you can try out for yourself at the end of each chapter. As with other reviewers I have read it more than once and like to dip in and out of it for inspiration. He doesn't necessarily have anything new to say, picking up ideologies from a range of religions and spiritual thinking, it's the way that he has joined them together in the 7 easy chapters that makes this book attractive. I would guess that if you had read widely on spirituality and religion then you might find this book a little low level, but for those of us who just want a little bit more balance and want to find an alternative way of getting success in our lives then this is the book for you. I have tried out some of the exercises and they really do make you think about the way you live your life and I have certainly made a few changes as a result of reading this little book. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that I think that some readers may already know about some of the concepts explored in the book.

I got it half way through, 4 July 2012
I bought this book on the strength of the mixed reviews, it's always good to buy a book and make up your own mind. I have been working my way through a range of books on life, spirituality and enlightenment and thought Tolle's book would make a good addition to my library of books on this subject. I have to say that halfway thought the book, I got what Tolle was trying to impart to the reader, i.e. that living your life based on past events or pinning your hopes on the future can lead to all sorts of mental health problems, as it had done for Tolle himself, who suffered from depression for years. I found the book a little hard going in places, and he laboured the same point quite a few times. I think I would have enjoyed the book if it was reduced by about a third. There are some very valuable lessons in the book about how to life your life in the now and rid yourself of anxiety, anger and other emotions that can hold you back. So for that reason I have given it 3 stars rather than some of the 1 stars that some reviewers have given it. In essence there is a good book in there, it's just hidden in too many words and I think that for some people, like me they will find it a little hard going at times.

Easy to follow creativity ideas, 28 Oct 2009
As a reader of lots of creativity and innovation books I thought I would read Jurgen's book as I had enjoyed his book on Focus, which I read last year. All in all this is good book, it is set out in very easy to read chapters so that you can dip in and out of it as you want. If you want some help to get your creative juices flowing then it is much easier to read than some of the Edward de Bono texts or Creativity which although good can be a difficult read. Jurgen has distilled some of the best creative ideas and tools and made them accessible. What's more he has divided the book into four sections Dreaming, Originating, Applying and Adapting which take you through the creative process and make it easy for you to understand how your brain works and how to tap into your grey matter more effectively. I think this is an excellent starter book for anyone wanting to know more about creativity and how to generate ideas, then if you want to take it further you could look at Thinkertoys: A Handbook of Creative-Thinking Techniques which packed full of creative and thinking games.

Great Little Book on Persuasion Techniques, 7 Oct 2009
Having been through the NLP mill and come out the other side, I know that I don't use half of the skills I learnt as effectively as I could. However, this book has re-awakened my interest as it does what it says on the tin. It cuts through some of the more complex NLP theories and gives you straightforward help on how to use language patterns in your life, work and business. I think that it would help if you had some grounding in NLP before you read the book as it still gets a little technical in places and the author does jump around somewhat, which is the only reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars. My tip would be to read the book, practice some of the exercises and then go back through it with a highlighter pen and pencil and make notes on all the bits you want to use again and again. This is what I did and I have got a lot more out of the book using it in this way. I have used some of the language patterns and they do work and make a big difference to the way you communicate with people both verbally and when you are writing. As a marketeer and author of The Brighter Marketing Bible, making sure that your marketing is inspiring and persuasive is vitally important and this book can help you become more effective at communicating.

Great for for all authors old and new, 8 Sep 2009
I received a copy of this book for review and I must admit took a while to getting round to reading it. I already have a book published and wasn't sure that it would teach me anything new. How wrong I was, it is a really great book packed full of useful ideas, from developing ideas for a book, through to how to find a publisher and more importantly how to promote and sell it. You often think that your book is the best book on the market and will sell itself, whilst you might come up with an amazing best seller, most of the books published each year need promoting and marketing to make them a success. Debbie and Joe have written a book full of common sense advice for authors that gives you the essentials you need to make your book a success. I would recommend it to would-be authors as it will give you a realistic view of what can be achieved and some great tips for what and more importantly what not to do. If you want to make money from being an author, then you need to read this book as it gives you the hard facts on what it takes to make your book a success.
