3.0 out of 5 stars OK film with an interesting title, 3 Dec. 2009

OKish story line. Look out for the superb Fabian Restrepo (from Sin Tetas)
Better Colombian story lines available through telenovelas on DVD - e.g. El Cartel

5.0 out of 5 stars Super book for the man with the best insight into F1, 3 Dec. 2009
Excellent book from the very underrated James Allen. Tells you about the real stories behind the most turbulent, controversial and revolutionary year in the history of F1.

Allen generously shares behind the scenes info from the unparalleled depth of contacts that he has cultivated during his time as a journalist and broadcaster.

Would give this book 6 stars if I could.

Memoirs of a Radical Lawyer
Memoirs of a Radical Lawyer

Price: £20.00

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining, intelligent, and thought-provoking, 23 Nov. 2009
Michael Mansfield is a libertarian hero of our times. He explains in lay terms how the law works and how the media fail to explain important mechanisms in our justice system. A very down-to-earth human being, who tells us of the human side behind some of the most prominent defence cases of the last twenty years.

Unravels corruption and police incompetency with excellent chapters on Stephen Lawrence, Jean-Charles de Menezez and Diana, Princess of Wales.

Buy this book - you'll find it hard to put down and will be very upset once you have finished reading it! AAA+++

1.0 out of 5 stars Pompous rubbish, 20 Nov. 2009
This review is from: Policing Controversy (Hardcover)
This is possibly one of the worst autobiographies that I have read. In summary, Ian Blair is a pompous liar.
The book glosses over the key controversies and he fails to answer the major questions surrounding the Jean-Charles De Menezez case.

An incredible waste of money on my part.
