5.0 out of 5 stars Another good read, 23 May 2013

as usual Monica Edwardshas written an interesting and realistic story set in the beautiful countryside of Southern England which you can easily picture from her description.I liked her books as a child and now as a pensioner collecting children's books it still keeps me wanting to read it.because the characters are well- drawn and the scenery well- described.
