For anyone interested in Biblical history and a grass roots version of the whole Bible - this is it. Apart from the excellent text there is so much more covered in the introduction and explanations.
All Christians should have a copy - it will help you put in perspective the "Old Testament" and be an excellent study resource.
The translator, David Stern, a Messianic Jew, has used his knowledge and obvious God-given abilities to put this translation together.
Thoroughly recommended.
