Blackstone's Police Operational Handbook 2013: Law & Practice and Procedure Pack
by Ian Bridges
Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars Blackstone's Police Operational Handbook 2013: Law & Practice & Procedure, 27 Jun 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Very interesting Police Operational Books to read on Law and Practice & Procedure.

I would say excellent reference and knowledge books for Police Officers but as a member of the public an interesting insight to Law from Human Rights to Crime...and to Practice and Procedure covering Evidence and Knowledge Management, Neighbourhood Policing and Protective Services.

Takes a bit of understanding but I am sure they are very good handbooks for a training Police Officer and for reference for them too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pampers Fresh Clean Wipes - Excellent Quality, 24 May 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Pampers Fresh Clean Wipes are soft, kind and gentle on the skin whether it be a baby's, child or adult's skin.

They have a fresh pleasant smell/scent and each wipe is strong and does not break/split when being used.

They are easy to dispense from the packet.

In my home all the family use them whether it be after using the toilet or just to wipe hands and face.

Dear Jelly: Family Letters from the First World War (One Shot)

Edition: Paperback
Price: 5.54

5.0 out of 5 stars Dear Jelly...In Memory of Brothers William and Robert Semple..., 28 Mar 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
In the summer of 1915 brothers William and Robert Semple left home to fight in the First World War.

They wrote letters and included their own amusing sketches of their experiences as soldiers to their sisters, Mabel and Jelly (Eileen).

I found this book very interesting, informative and factual to the First World War.

I would recommend this book for all ages and especially for children to help them understand about the history of the First World War and the experiences of two of the soldiers and what life was like while serving there.

It has year by year information of what was happening during the First World War from August 1914 to 1918 as well as what William and Robert were doing and a print of each letter with the sketches they drew that they sent to their sisters as if it was on the writing paper they used.

The book also contains:

- Semple Family Tree
- Actual photographs of the family
- A Remembrance to William and Robert and where they were laid to rest
- A First World War Timeline
- Information about War Graves, War Memorials, Armistice Day and The Poppy
- The Semple Family after the War
- Glossary

5.0 out of 5 stars A Beautiful Story..., 28 Mar 2014

An amazing story that is about a 10 Year Old Girl sent to live with her Granddad after her Mum is diagnosed with Breast Cancer and needs surgery, treatment and time to recover.

She feels alone, until she meets Megan the girl who lives next door and her pet pig Claude and then feels she can face up to anything...

I would recommend this book for children because it deals with the aspects of a parent falling ill with cancer, shows that while their loved one has treatment and recovers life must go on and that you can enjoy it to.

Absolutely Delicious!!!

Ideal as a snack or an extra in your lunchbox.

Each bar has Cereals of Whole Oats, Rice, Whole Wheat mixed together with Toffee Pieces.

I love Oaty Weetabix as a breakfast cereal so I thought this may be a bit dry to taste but with the Toffee Pieces it brings out a really nice taste.

I have enjoyed them as a snack.
