4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome hoody, 5 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It's a really comfortable, warm and nice fitting hoody that looks even better on than it does in the pictures. The only complaint I have with it is the artwork feels as though it may come off after many washes but don't know for sure. It's also very reasonably priced for 27.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just get the deluxe edition of the album., 31 Aug 2013
This review is from: Metal (Audio CD)
These are good songs don't get me wrong but it's kinda pointless to buy this EP when all of the tracks found on it can be found on the ablum (considering you get the deluxe edition). "Soldierhead" and "King of the Underdogs" are available on all standard editions of "Heavy Metal Music" and "Godsnake" and "Skyscraper" are available as bonus tracks on all Deluxe Editions of the album. Btw the iTunes version of the album features 1 extra bonus track compared with the physical deluxe edition.

1.0 out of 5 stars 45 for the hoody and 25 for the postage? Are you having a laugh., 10 Aug 2013
Okay I understand that band hoody's can be expensive but how would the postage for a hoody ever be 25? That is just pure greed "Old Glory". I mean you could send a TV in the mail first class for less than 15 so how a hoody would cost more to send is beyond me. I would be interested in buying this hoody as it looks amazing but there's no way i'm going to pay all that, total rip off.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the better Millennium entries, 10 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is one of the best in the Millennium series that seemed to be pretty lackluster at best compared to the Showa and Heisei series films. There's only 2 that really stand out to me and that's this one and of course the fan favorite Godzilla: Final Wars. Of the 3 Godzilla movies directed by Masaaki Tezuka this one is by far the best. The story is pretty engaging and entertaining which is good because many Godzilla films drag on and bore you before getting to the action. The action in this movie is very good and very little CGI is used which was a problem I had with a lot of the Millennium movies. There's not much to say really but if you like Godzilla then this is one to get.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pretty much an exact copy of the movies with lame jokes added in, 10 Jan 2013
This was the most unfunny thing I ever watched, this was even worse than the Prequel Trilogy. I don't understand why Family Guy has made it so big all of a sudden, it's so lame. All they do is just use random pop culture references, fart jokes and plagiarism. Yes every joke they use can be traced back to another source mainly The Simpsons e.g. "Birds in Peter's beard keep stealing his food" "Puppies around homer keep stealing his food in an identical fashion" Seth Macfarlene is laughing at you for liking this even he says the show should be off the air by now. Give this one a miss and see the original Star Wars trilogy but try and find a less altered edition steer clear of the CGI blu-rays.

3.0 out of 5 stars For newbs only, 28 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a cheap and cheerful box set featuring some of the best and one of the worst Godzilla movies from the Showa era. The only purpose this really has is for introductory purposes. You'll be able to decide whether you like Godzilla and want to see more of him from this, though I feel it should have been slightly larger and I would have chosen a few movies from each of the 3 eras for this compilation.

What you get is:
Gojira (10/10)
Godzilla, King of the Monsters (6/10)
Godzilla Raids Again (10/10)
Mothra vs Godzilla (10/10)
Ghidorah, The Three Headed Monster (10/10)
Invasion of the Astro Monster (10/10)
All Monsters Attack (1/10)
Terror of Mechagodzilla (10/10)

You get both Americanized and Original subtitled versions of each films to suit whatever preference you have. The newer version of the box set is horrible featuring 2 standard DVD cases in a slipcover, the original version with a separate case for each one and a big box over it was so much better and you could also take them out and put them in order with the rest of your collection should you get more but it's probably pretty rare now and you'd be better off just buying them separately.

Should you get this box set, for introduction to the other eras I would recommend, Godzilla vs Biollante, Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II and Godzilla vs Destoroyah for the Heisei era and Godzilla: Final Wars for the Millennium series.

Medievil 2
Medievil 2

1.0 out of 5 stars This pretty much killed the franchise, 4 Dec 2012
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Medievil 2 (Video Game)
This one lacked the stunning visuals and environments of the original, the cool characters are all gone due to it being set in 19th century London instead (why call it MediEvil then?) instead we get some rather annoying characters with really bad stereotypical British accents, I swear every time I hear that ghost helper dudes voice I want to turn off the TV. The controls are not as fluent this is especially bad with fighting, it feels so stiff. The story is pretty average with a really lame ending.

It's not all bad however as some levels are quite good and what you would expect from a MediEvil sequel, if only the whole game was like that. The stand out levels include Whitechapel, Kensington, The Freak Show and Cathedral Spires. The music while not bad it doesn't have the awesome and atmospheric score that the first had. I don't like the map system for this one, the way it was before was fine so don't change it. I hate how you can't go back to previous levels to replenish your health because the life re-generators don't re-spawn when you replay a level only energy vials do WHY?!!!!

This would be fine if you start each level with full health but you don't which was a problem even in the 1st one but was easily solved by playing through an easy level and using health re-generators. Well i'm going on a bit so i'll just say the first MediEvil is a classic gothic horror game and everyone should play it, MediEvil 2 is a pretty good game but compared to the first it's pretty bad. Only for people who really liked the first I think.

4.0 out of 5 stars About the same as Candyman 2, 24 Nov 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It wasn't bad but wasn't great, I liked this about the same as Candyman 2, both really just leave unsatisfied and wanting more but it's entertaining at the least. It was definitely worth the 2 I paid for it. I realize this is the most hated in the series but I really don't see why because it's not terrible and is probably the best you'd get in terms of a 2nd Candyman sequel especially a straight to video one. The first one is obviously the best, not all fans of the 1st would like this but if you liked Candyman 2 as well you should probably give this one a watch. Tony Todd gives an okay performance but isn't as creepy as in the first, seems more focused on gore this time around. The lead girl is pretty sexy too (: I would rate this about a 3.5/5 but I gave it a 5 to bump up its amazon rating as I think 2.5 is a bit too low.

1.0 out of 5 stars When is this movie getting the release it deserves?, 20 Nov 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This DVD only features the dubbed English version of the film featuring alternative footage and re-cycled music from The Wolf Man and Creature from the Black Lagoon which doesn't really fit the film. There are no special features either, this wouldn't really bother me if the Original Japanese version was included or even if it was the only one included. As far as I know the Japanese version has not been released on DVD yet so they need to get it done.
